OTOMOTİV TEKNOLOJİSİ PROGRAMI

Otomotiv sektörü günümüzde neredeyse ülkelerin ekonomik durumlarının temel göstergesi
sayılmaktadır. Ülkemizin lokomotif sektörlerinden biri olan Otomotiv sektöründe çalışacak takım
çalışmasına uyumlu, gerekli mesleki beceri ve yeterliliklere sahip, iletişim becerileri yüksek,
teknolojiyi takip eden ve kullanan kalifiye teknik ara elemanlara ihtiyacı vardır. Mehmet Akif Ersoy
Üniversitesi, Teknik Bilimler Meslek Yüksekokulu, Motorlu Araçlar ve Ulaştırma Teknolojileri Bölümü,
Otomotiv Teknolojisi programı bu ihtiyacı karşılayacak otomotiv endüstrisinin ihtiyacı olan teknikerler
yetiştirmektedir. Otomotiv Teknolojisi programımızın amacı karayolu taşımacılığında kullanılan
motorlu araçların yapımı alanında veya bu sektöre hizmet edecek farklı firmalarda ve kuruluşlarda
çalışacak ara eleman yetiştirmektir. Öğrencilere sektörün ihtiyacı doğrultusunda teorik ve uygulamalı
teknik güncel bilgiler verilmektedir. Teorik eğitimin ardından otomotiv alanında kullanabilecekleri
test, ölçüm ve ayar cihazları ile ilgili kullanma becerisi ve ortaya çıkan sonuçları muhakeme etme ve
problem çözme kabiliyeti kazandırılmaktadır.
Otomotiv Teknolojisi Programı Laboratuvar İmkânları
Otomotiv Programında dersler teknoloji sınıfında teorik olarak aynı zamanda laboratuvar ortamında
uygulamalı olarak yürütülmektedir. Bu amaçla Otomotiv Teknolojisi programında iki adet atölye
bulunmaktadır. Eğitim Türkçe verilmektedir. Öğrenciler iki yıllık eğitim süresince edindikleri teorik
bilgileri pekiştirmek amacıyla 30 iş günü staj yapmaktadırlar. Günümüz otomotiv teknolojisinin takip
edilmesi amacıyla güncel test, ölçüm ve ayar cihazları ile dersler uygulamalı olarak işlenmektedir.
Otomotiv Programı Atölyesinde öğrenciler Benzinli Motorlar Teknolojisi, Dizel Motorlar ve Yakıt
Enjeksiyon Sistemleri Teknolojisi, Güç Aktarma Organları, Otomotiv Elektriği, Otomotiv Elektroniği,
Motor Test ve Ayar ve Bilgisayar Destekli Çizim gibi birçok meslek derslerinde teorik ve uygulamalı
eğitimi almakta ve Otomotiv alanı ile ilgili projelerde uygulamalar yapabilmektedirler.
Program İş Olanakları
Mezunlar kamu ve özel sektöre bağlı fabrikalarda ve servislerde çalışabilmektedirler. Otomotiv
teknikeri olarak mezun olan öğrenciler yetkili servislerde ve farklı işletmelerde otomotiv mekanik
servis, satış sonrası hizmet, otomotiv yedek parça, teknik eğitim departmanlarında, araç muayene
istasyonlarında ve havacılık alanı ile ilgili teknik birimlerde nitelikli kalifiye eleman olarak
çalışmaktadırlar. Bunun yanında karayolu taşıtlarının periyodik kontrollerinin ve muayenelerin
gerçekleştirildiği istasyonlarda araç muayene uzmanı veya idareci olarak çalışabilmektedirler.
Otomotiv Programı Kontenjanı
Otomotiv Programı Öğretim Elemanı olarak Yrd. Doç. Dr. Ali ÖZ, Öğr. Gör. Fahrettin BOZ ve Öğr. Gör.
Ahmet UYUMAZ görev yapmaktadır. Program kontenjanları birinci öğretim 60, ikinci öğretim 50
kişidir.
Öğrencilerin Dikey geçiş yapabilecekleri Lisans Programları
Programımızı bitiren öğrenciler Tekniker olarak servislerde, resmi kurumlarda ve kendi özel iş
yerlerinde ve gemilerde çalışmaktadırlar. Bunun yanında ön lisans eğitimini tamamlayan
öğrencilerimiz dikey geçiş sınavında başarılı oldukları takdirde Endüstri Mühendisliği, Enerji Sistemleri
Mühendisliği, Gemi İnşaatı ve Gemi Makineleri Mühendisliği, Gemi Makineleri İşletme Mühendisliği,
Gemi ve Deniz Teknolojisi Mühendisliği, Makine Mühendisliği, Otomotiv Mühendisliği, Uçak Gövde –
Motor, Uçak Gövde - Motor Bakım lisans programlarında lisans eğitimi alabilmektedirler.

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMME
Introduction of the Automotive Programme
Nowadays, Automotive sector is considered the main indicator of economical situation of the
contries. Our country needs to qualified intermediate staffs who is compatible to the teamwork,
having necessary professional skills and competences and high communication skills, keeping up and
using the technology in the automotive sectory that is locomotive sector. Mehmet Akif Ersoy
University, High Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Department of Motored Vehicles and
Transportation Technologies, Automotive Technology Programme educate the technicians who
automotive industry needs for. The purpose of Automotive Technology Programme is to educate the
qualified intermediate staffs who will work in the field of the production of the motored vehicles
using in the road transportation or at different firms and foundation serving this sector. Students are
educated with theoretical and practical contemporary know-how in line with the demands of the
sector. The students are upskilled about the test, measurement, adjusting devices using in the field
of the automotive, reconsidering the obtained results and solving the problems.
Laboratory Facilities of Automotive Technology Programme
TheoreticaI lessons are taught at the technology classes but practical lessons are taught in the
laboratory in the Automotive Technology Programme. For this purpose, two workshop are used in
the Automotive Technology Programme. The language of education is Turkish. The students undergo
training for 30 workday in order to strengthen the technical knowledge that learning during two
education years. The lessons are taught with contemporary test, measurement and adjusting devices
for keeping up with the automotive technology.
The students are educated with many theoretical and practical shop classes including Gasoline
Engines Technology, Diesel Engines Technology and Fuel Injection Systems, Power Transmission
Organs, Automotive Electricity, Automotive Electronics, Engine Test and Adjusting and Computer
Aided Design courses and they can perform an application about the projects related to the field of
an automotive technology.
Business Opportunities of the Automotive Technology Programme
Graduates can work in the public or private factories and services. Graduates as automotive
technicians can work in the vehicle inspection stations and technical departments related to the field
of aviation and in the departments of technical education, automotive mechanic service, after salesservice, spare parts of reauthorized technical service or different foundations as a qualified
intermediate staff. In addition, graduates can work in the vehicle inspection stations where road
vehicles are serviced as a vehicle inspection expert or manager.
Contingent Of Automotive Technology Programme
In the Automotive Technology Programme, Assc.Ph.D. Ali ÖZ, Instructor Fahrettin BOZ and Instructor
Ahmet UYUMAZ have worked. Day-time contingent is 60 students, 50 students for evening education
in the Automotive Technology Programme.
External transfer exam
Graduates can also work in the goverment agencies and their own private work shops or in the ships
as a technician. The students who are successful in the external transfer exam can be educated in the
departments of Industry Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanichal Enginering, Energy
Systems Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Airframe-Engine and AirframeEngine Maintenance.
