Dear Mr. Coşar:
The American legal community is deeply saddened by the recent horrendous attack at the
Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Our sympathies and thoughts are with your country and with the
families and loved ones of all of those who perished and were injured.
I was fortunate enough to have visited your country last month and had the opportunity to meet
with your wonderful people. It breaks my heart to know that you are suffering because of this
terrible incident.
In the end, our shared commitment to justice and the rule of law will win out against these
despicable agents of terror and enable stable societies to prevail.
