Damla TOK, PT, MSc
She graduated from Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Health Sciences Faculty at Hacettepe
University in Ankara, Turkey in 2011. The following year she has started Sport
Physiotherapy master programme at the same department. During 2013 she worked as a team
physiotherapist of the physically handicapped basketball team of Ankara Yenimahalle. In
2014, she has continued her career as a Research Assistant in Sport Health Department,
Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Hacettepe University. She is a member of Turkish
Physiotherapists Association and Sport Physiotherapists Association. Besides, she is an active
member and professional athlete of Middle East Technical University Sub-Aqua Sport Club
in free diving, underwater hockey and underwater rugby teams. For a while, she has taken
part in Turkish Water Polo Federation’s Health Commission and Turkish Underwater
Federation’s Free Diving Technical Commission both as a member and a therapist. She has
been attended several courses regarding to her subject and interest area such as manual
therapy, taping, dry needling, radiologic imaging methods. Currently, she maintains clinical
and academic researches and works in the fields of sport physiotherapy, lower extremity
rehabilitation, biomechanics, sport movements analysis, sport health, physical fitness,
proprioception at Sport Physiotherapy Department.
