Dear Members, Değerli Üyelerimiz,
The US Ambassador John Koenig was
guest speaker at a dinner meeting
arranged through the initiative of
our Club and jointly organized by the
Rotary Clubs of the TRNC ,InnerWheel Clubs and Rotaractors. The
event took place in July at the Colony
Hotel , the Ambassador in his speech praised the work of our
Rotary Clubs.

Rotary kulübü, InnerWheel Kulüp'leri ve Rotaractor Kulüp'leriyle ortaklaşa organize ettiğimiz
akşam yemeğine katıldılar. Yaptığı konuşmada Büyükelçi Koenig Rotary Kulüplerinin çalışmalarından sitayişle bahsetmiştir.

On a sad note our member Mrs. Sidret Atala passed away in
August, she had been ill for sometime. On behalf
of our Club I sent a message of our condolences
to the family in Ankara and also spoke on the
phone with Mr. Bilgin Atala conveying our message of sadness at the loss of our member.
Maalesef değerli üyemiz Sidret Hanımefendi
vefat etmiştir, eşine taziye mesajı göndererek ve
şahsen yaptığım telefon görüşmesinde üyelerimizadına başsağlığı dileklerimizi iletmiş bulunuyorum.

The District Governor
Mustafa Nasereddin will
be visiting Cyprus Clubs
between the 16th and
29th October.
All Committee Chairs and
Board will be informed as
soon as we have the date
for our Club presentation.
A Gala Dinner of the
three Clubs in North Cyprus will also take place
during this visit.
A summer barbeque organized by Jessics Bar owner Mr. Mustafa
Aziz raised more than 1250 TL for our Club in July. Mr. Aziz and the
Expatriate British Community as friends and supporters of Rotary
once again demonstrated their loyalty.
Jessics Bar sahibi Mustafa Aziz Tarafından organize edilen ve İngiliz
toplumu tarafından desteklenen barbekü çok başarılı geçmiştir.
Toplam 1250 TL aşkın bir meblağ toplanmıştır. Mustafa Bey ve Rotary Dostları İngiliz Toplumu daima yardımcı olmaktadırlar.

Our Board decided to help a family in distress by contributing a gas oven. The husband has had
a stroke and is paralysed, the wife has cancer, and they have small children. The Evkaf Foundation has provided a home and the Kyrenia Municipality has refurbished the building.
Çok kötü durumda olan bir aileye Yönetim Kurulumuz yardım etme kararı almıştır. Baba kriz
geçirerek kötürüm olmuştur, Anne kanser hastası ve küçük çocukları var. Evkaf kendilerine bir
ev tahsis etmiştir, Girne Belediyesi boyama işlemini üstlenerek binayı yaşanır hale getirdi. Biz
de bir gaz ocağı hibe etmiş bulunuyoruz.

Finally, on the 5th of September a Global Grants Seminar /Training has been arranged be Rotary Club of St. Hilarion at the Grand Pasha Hotel. Registrations shall take place at 9-30 in the
morning.
St. Hilarion Rotary Kulübü'nün organize etmiş olduğu 'global- grants' semineri/eğitimi 5 Eylül
Cumartesi günü sabah 9-30 da kayıt işlemi yapıldıktan sonra başlayacaktır. Grand Paşa Otel'de
yer alacak olan etkinliğe Türkiye,den tecrübeli üst düzey Rotaryanlar eğitici olarak katılacaklardır
