Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to make students communicate with people having
impaired hearing by using Turkish Sign Language alphabet, basic
vocabulary and grammar structures.
Learning Outcomes
LO1. To get general information about sign language,
LO2. To be able to communicate in daily life by using sign language,
LO3. To be able to give information about him/herself,
LO4. To be able to ask questions by using simple question structures.
Course Contents
General Information About Sign Language, Hand and Finger Gestures,
Expressing Numbers, Introducing yourself, Asking Questions, Expressing
Affirmative and Negative Sentences, Understanding the Other Side
