The MOD-0350 is a wireless telephone module for the vivimat® III
and vivimat® LITE systems. Provides a GSM line for the exclusive use
of the vivimat® III and vivimat® LITE home automation systems.
This module is complementary to the internal telephone module of
the vivimat® controller board and doesn’t replace its functionality.
It is a plug and play expansion module, which is installed on the
expansion module or vivimat® LITE controller board.
GSM module is composed of MOD-0350, an adaptor antenna cable
(ref: CAB-COAX2SMA-F) and an adhesive antenna with 3 metre-long
cable (ref: A-SMA_M-ADH-3M).

- Installation of the GSM module on the expansion module MOD-0001 on vivimat® 3.0 controller board: The MOD0350 are modules that are supplied and communicate through the expansion board MOD-0001 on which they are mounted.

Once the module is placed in its proper position, we
slightly press on the indicated points (see above) to fix
the module to controller board.
After installing the GSM module, we insert the SIM card.
- Installation of the receiving antenna with the GSM module:
First we connect the adapter of the antenna to the GSM module, which has previously been installed on the expansion
plate MOD-0001.

Once the adaptor is connected to the GSM module, we bind the adaptor with the antenna.
Antenna
NOTE: The provided antenna allows to be placed up to 3 metres away from the central unit. Its location mainly
depends on the coverage level existing. The coverage level depends on several factors such as the selection of
the mobile phone operator. vivimat® 3.0 control board allows to determine the best location for the antenna
through the LED3 state led.
Configuration
- For vivimat® III systems:
The module is autoconfigurable. Just connect the GSM module to the Central unit so that it becomes operative. GSM
module state is shown on the LED3 state led in the central unit.
-Led On: Operative GSM module
-Led off: No GSM module or not operative
-Led flashing: Low coverage or with no coverage
It is necessary to configure the ‘gsm.txt’ file in the microSD memory with the balance request code. For the selected
operator:
e.g. The balance request code for Vodafone is *134#
GSM module periodically makes (every 15 days by default) a functionality and balance test.
In order to do that, an available balance request is made. Once the balance is received, it is forwarded to the first number
in the phone book (usually the main user).
Likewise, all SMS messages received by the GSM module are forwarded to the first number in the phone book.
