TURKISH PETROLEUM OVERSEAS COMPANY (TPOC), IRAQ
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
FOR MANSURIYA PROJECT DRILLING AND COMPLETION TENDERS
TPOC (“Company”) operator of Mansuriya Project hereby requests “Expression of Interest” from qualifying
Contractors for the provision of Technical Service Agreements in support of COMPANY ’s forthcoming drilling
campaign in Mansuriya Field (100 km away north-east of Baghdad) in Iraq. COMPANY wishes to invite for prequalification interested, experienced and reputable companies specialized in providing similar services to submit all
requirements for inclusion in the bidders list to be invited to participate in the forthcoming tenders.
Well Program:

The work program is a part of Mansuriya Gas Field development plan which includes drilling of 2 (two)
appraisal and 5 (five) development wells, the depth of wells will be around 1500 m TVD.

The first well of the program is scheduled to be spud in Q1 of 2015 with a rig. The rig amount may be
increased depending on the progresses in the Project.

The well design is 30” conductor, 20”, 13-5/8”, 9-5/8” casing , 11 ¾” contingency liner and 5 ½” production
liner for Appraisal and Development wells which planned as being 8-1/2” in the reservoir section. Long Lead
Items (Casing, Tubing, Wellhead and Production & Completion String) and Drill Bits will be provided by
Company.
Anticipated Well Conditions:

H2S has been observed in the reservoir gas on offset Wells in concentrations up to 1.99% maximum (% mole)
and is expected to be encountered during the Well Program in similar concentrations.

CO2 has been observed in the reservoir gas on offset Wells in concentrations up to 2.5% maximum (% mole)
and is expected to be encountered during the Well Program in similar concentrations.

The expected temperature gradients are as follows: Approx. 2.624 °C/100 m.

Anticipated pressure in the Jeribe reservoir is around 4,100psi, while max. pressure while drilling these wells is
in the Lower Fars transition bed formation and is expected to be 4,300psi.
This prequalification is for the services:

Drilling Rig (Minimum 1500 HP) and Workover Rig Services. Integrated Project Management (IPM) Services
option is more preferable by Company.

Technical Services: Logging, Coring, Cementing, Drilling and Completion Fluid, H2S, Tubular Running, Testing,
Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, Mud Logging, Well Testing, Stimulation (Acidizing and Nitrogen), Perforation,
Sampling (down hole and surface), PVT-Core and Sampling Analyses, Waste Treatment Services, etc.

Pre-Operational Services: Custom Clearance, Transportation, Civil Works, Water Well Drilling etc.
Any contractors “Expression of Interest” must as a minimum provide the following information:






Company Profile, Organization Chart, address of company’s main office and branch office in Iraq, if available.
Contractor’s nationality, Registration documents and information.
Details of Health, Safety and Environment Management Programs.
Financial Status for last three years.
Details of experience and results in provision of technical services and support services in Iraq or any other
countries.
Details of technical personnel, CV of key personnel and support services that the Contractor can provide
(including technical specifications).

Contact Information of focal person for Tendering Period.
Contractors are now invited to submit their interest for the provision of technical services and related support services
for use in Mansuriya Field in Iraq with details as above. This information will then be used by Company to identify
potential Bidders to participate in a rigorous pre-qualification exercise and competitive tender for this works.
The pre-qualification request is not an invitation to tender. Company is neither committed nor obligated to undertake
the work described above or to issue any call for tender or to include any respondent to this invitation or other
company on any Bidders List or to award any form of contract. Company reserves the right to exclude without notices
Contractors providing insufficient or inadequate information. This announcement is to be considered as an Expression
of Interest only.
The Invitation to Tender (ITT) and full ITT Package will only be issued to qualified contractors that have been prequalified. Company will not be responsible for whatsoever costs incurred for preparation and submission presented in
response to this notice. Company shall deal only with authorized officers of the Contractors and not through
individuals or agents.

The requested documents and information and a statement Expression of Interest must be submitted prior to 17:00
on May 12, 2014. Interested contractors can submit the information via email.
The information can alternatively be submitted on a CD to the below Company’s addresses. Company will provide any
further information, if requested.
