“Three-Winged Eolian Rotor”, Huddinge Hospital, Stockholm.
1990
“Vattenvirveln” (“The Whirlpool”), sculpture for the town square at Ekerö Centrum,
near Stockholm, was in production between 1985-86. Some of Ilhan Koman's
colleagues and former students completed the sculpture, which was unveiled on
June 8th .
1989
“Portal”, mobile sculpture, which was originally to be placed in an underground
station in Stockholm (1984-86) was enlarged in order to be placed at the City
Terminal, Stockholm. The sculpture was unveiled by The King of Sweden on the
occasion of the inauguration of the City Terminal, January 20th. It has been
removed from the City Terminal in 2007.
1988
“The Swedish National Coat of Arms” for permanent use in the House of Parliament
was in production in 1986. Some of Ilhan Koman's colleagues and former students
completed the work, which was unveiled by the Head of the Parliament on National
