A big ‘hello’ to you all! It is my pleasure to invite
you to read on and find out how the Bonfiglioli
Group is changing. We are all aware that the
changes occurring worldwide cannot be stopped.
They can only be turned into opportunities.
This was my father’s conviction, and one that he
put into practice with passion and determination
throughout his life.
Thanks to his drive and inspiration, the Bonfiglioli
group has embraced new technologies, found new
applications and become a truly global player.
We have invested in renewable energy and in the
green economy, with the intention of supplying
the world not just with products, but with
complete, advanced solutions.
Today we can look to the future with confidence.
We have the ability to win the trust of those who

Clementino Bonfiglioli founded the company that
still bears his name in Bologna in 1956, in response
to a growing demand from engineering companies
for spare parts and precision components for
agricultural machinery and motorcycles, two
rapidly developing areas at the time.
Clemente Bonfiglioli, bugün halen onun ismini taşıyan

Clementino Bonfiglioli was a genuine pioneer.
In just a few years he put into practice his decision
to develop and produce all-new products, and
designed and patented the RAE series of two-stage
planetary gearboxes. Distributed first locally and
then nationwide, these products were increasingly
well received. In 1975, Bonfiglioli’s success led to
the acquisition of Trasmital, a company that is now
a leader in planetary gearboxes for excavators,
road construction machines and wind turbines.
Gerçek bir öncü olan Clemente Bonfiglioli, sadece

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the Bonfiglioli
Group successfully expanded into the international
market and, driven by continuous product
innovation, opened directly controlled subsidiaries
and production plants in a number of countries.
The new millennium saw yet more additions to the
Group with the acquisition of Vectron, a leader in
electronic control systems, and Tecnoingranaggi,
a manufacturer of precision, low backlash
gearboxes.
In its 50th anniversary year, Bonfiglioli renewed its
commitment to internationalisation and the green
economy, and confirmed its role as a major player
in the global market. When Clementino Bonfiglioli
passed away in 2010, his daughter Sonia, already
a driving force in management, assumed control
and continued the process of re-launching
and consolidating the group’s progress around
the world.

and has always been committed to developing
sustainable technologies for the industries it serves.
Social commitment dates back to the earliest days
of Bonfiglioli, and stems from the faith that our
founder, Clementino Bonfiglioli, had in young
people’s ability to innovate and renew, for the
benefit of the company and of the planet as a whole.
Bonfiglioli’s horizons have always extended well
into the future and our company has always been
committed to offering young people opportunities
for employment and learning. The innovative
solutions that Bonfiglioli develops clearly target
the future that today’s young people will build.
Bonfiglioli’s feels an even stronger commitment
to the local community in countries where it has
subsidiaries and production plants.
The group is determined to make a tangible
contribution towards creating a better future
by helping those most in need and by offering
development opportunities to young people.
Bonfiglioli has put this policy into practice through
a number of excellent projects around the world,
including the Cheerfutureland children’s home in
India, support for the Pho Cap School in Vietnam, joint
projects with the Leonardo Committee association in
Italy, sponsorship of a hockey team in Germany and
cooperation with the Warrington Wolves Charitable
Foundation in the UK to promote social integration,
and many other initiatives besides.
Bonfiglioli’s commitment assumed a global profile
precisely because the group sees social responsibility as
the best way to invest in the future and in the company.

Building for tomorrow
Yarını inşa etmek için
Supporting children and young people in their
education and growth and trying to offer a
healthy and stimulating environment, even
characterized by positive values, means for
Bonfiglioli helping to create a future built on those
same principles, a more just society, a better world.
Driven by the need to achieve something concrete
the Project CheerFutureLand Bonfiglioli was
born in 2008, thanks to an agreement between
NAMASTE‘, an Italian non-profit association and
PREMA VASAM, an Indian charitable association.
CheerFutureLand welcomes both children mentally
and physically disabled and children without a
family with the aim to give them a chance to
learn and improve in their education using and
developing their specific abilities in spite of their
limitations.
Thanks to the generous assistance of friends and
business partners, Bonfiglioli built near Chennai,
India, a home that now houses 45 children and
adolescents otherwise in situations of extreme
poverty, giving them emotional and cultural
support in a family atmosphere.
CheerFutureLand also collaborates with the
headquarters of Prema Vasam which houses
another 180 children, including both healthy
young people and children with physical or mental
diseases, to which are provided special assistance,
such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and
support to their education.
A tangible sign of Bonfiglioli will to contribute
to all social, economic and cultural aspects of
India, where Bonfiglioli has important production
facilities, laying the foundations for a future of
growth and development for all.
Çocukları ve gençleri eğitmek ve büyütmek, onlara
sağlıklı, teşvik edici ve içinde yetişecekleri olumlu ve

evinde bugün, aşırı yoksulluk durumunda olan 45
çocuk ve ergenler misafir edilmekte ve onlara bir aile
ortamında kültürel ve duygusal destek verilmektedir.
Ayrıca CheerFutureLand, aralarında normal çocuklarla
birlikte zihinsel ve bedensel engelli çocukların
bulunduğu, kendilerine fizyolojik tedavi, iş terapisi ve
eğitim desteği gibi özel yardımlar yapılan diğer 180
çocuğu misafir eden Prema Vasam ana merkezi ile
işbirliği yapmaktadır.
Bunlar, Bonfiglioli’nin, herkes için büyüme ve gelişme
ifade edecek bir yarın için temelleri atarak, önemli bir
üretim tesisinin bulunduğu Hindistan ile tüm sosyal,
ekonomik ve kültürel unsurları paylaşma iradesinin

products. The mission is to guarantee improved
profitability by acting as a riskless partner and a
provider of energy-efficient solutions in the field
of industrial automation.
This demands the convergence of mechanical,
electrical and electronic competences. Bonfiglioli
has implemented a precise and detailed strategy
to precisely achieve this objective. The Mechatronic
Drives & Solutions (MDS) Division is the result.
The division’s aim is to develop new products that
make a greater use of electronic competences, and
to deliver vertical and mechatronic solutions to
customers.

In conjunction with Bonfiglioli Vectron, Bonfiglioli
supplies complete solutions for managing every
aspect of photovoltaic installation management,
from conversion to supply and metering.
Three phase inverters transform the continuous
current produced by the photovoltaic panels into
the alternating current required by the grid.
Many EPCs and IPPs worldwide decided to count
on Bonfiglioli solutions for their photovoltaic
plants: as a consequence many of Europe, Asia,
North and South America’s largest photovoltaic
parks can testify to the advanced technology and

enjoyed extraordinary growth, and has established
itself as a global player in the worldwide
power transmission market. Growth and smart
investments have always been key success factors
for Bonfiglioli: this is the reason why Bonfiglioli

countries and in the technologies behind renewable
energy. As a result, the company has flourished
even in difficult times, and now leads the move
towards a green economy.
Bonfiglioli today is a consolidated group of
companies with 17 directly controlled subsidiaries,
over 10 production plants, more than 3,000
employees, a sales network in 80 countries and
a position of absolute leadership in industrial
applications, the market of mobile and earth
moving machinery, and the strategic wind and
photovoltaic energy markets.
