Practices to obtain skills for detecting malfunctions for troubleshooting to manage the possible problems for bringing the room systems from abnormal condition to normal one are performed. Exercises in practicing maneuvering operations. Also, students will practice different scenarios to develop skills such as risk management, team-working understanding in the engine room, and "internal" and "external" communication skills in the engine room. This course aims to develop knowledge and skills on the malfunction detection of engine room machinery and systems in operations using a full mission type of Engine Room Simulator (ERS).
