AR-GE VE TEKNİK SERVİS ÖN PLANDA
GİZEM FRİT, Müşterilerine daha iyi bir satış sonrası servisi sağlayabilmek
amacıyla, yurtiçindeki teknik kadrosunun yanı sıra yurt dışındaki tüm yerel
temsilcilerini de Gizem Frit laboratuarlarında eğitime tabi tutmaktadır. Şirket
bünyesindeki Ar-Ge departmanımız teknoloji ve ürün geliştirme konularında
uluslararası standartlarda yapılandırılmıştır. Kuruluşumuzun Ar-Ge Departmanı,
firmamızın faaliyet alanına giren konularla ilgili çalışmalar yapmak üzere
yurtiçinde ve yurtdışında üniversiteler, tedarikçiler, araştırma kuruluşları ve
enstitülerle işbirliği içinde çalışmaktadır.Gizem Frit Ar-Ge bölümü, üretilecek
fritlerin formülasyonunu ve kontrolünü yapmaktadır. Firmaya giren bütün
hammaddeler,uzman mühendisler tarafından analiz edilip üretime uygunluk
onayı alındıktan sonra işleme girmektedir. Sektörün ihtiyaçlarının tümünü
karşılayabilecek ürün skalasına sahip olan Gizem Frit Her geçen gün müşteri
portföyüne yenilerini eklemekte ve giderek artan talep doğrultusunda üretim
kapasitesini arttırmaktadır.
A SPECIAL FOCUS ON R&D AND TECHNICAL SERVICE
In order to provide a better after-sales service to Gizem Frit’s customers,
all technical personnel in Turkey as well as all the local representatives
worlwide receive training at the company’s laboratories. Our R&D
department, which works in cooperation and conducts joint studies with
local and foreign universities, suppliers and research institutions, meets
international standards in technology and product development. The
department formulates and inspects the frits to be produced. All raw
materials are subjected to comprehensive analysis by expert engineers and
processed only if they qualify for approval. Thanks to its extensive product
range, which is capable of catering any kind of requirement of the sector,
Gizem Frit is expanding its customer base and increasing its production in
line with the incrasing demand capacity everyday.
TÜRKİYE’NİN İLK FRİT ARAŞTIRMA MERKEZİNİ FAALİYETE GEÇİRDİK
Gizem Frit, kaliteye verdiği önemi her fırsatta laboratuarlarına yaptığı ciddi yatırımlar ile kanıtlamaktadır. Araştırma ve
Geliştirme’ye yapılan yatırımlar firmamıza başarı olarak geri dönmektedir. Gizem Frit son yıllarda büyüme ivmesini daha
da hızlandırmış ve bünyesinde bulunan kapsamlı laboratuarı ile 2009 yılında Türkiye’nin ilk frit araştırma merkezini
faaliyete geçirmiştir. Gizem Frit Araştırma Laboratuarında; XRF, AAS, Dilatometre Isı mikroskobu, viskosimetre, Datapaq
Termograf, Mastersizer 2000 ve bunun gibi frit analizi ve karakterizasyonu için gerekli her türlü donanım bulunmaktadır.

Gizem Frit’s commitment to quality is revealed by the serious amounts of investments made to the company’s laboratories.
Investments allocated to research and development brings us success in return. Having further geared up in recent years, Gizem
Frit opened Turkey’s first frit research center within its state-of-the-art laboratory in 2009. The research laboratory is equipped
with cutting-edge examples of frit analysis and characterization technologies such as XRF, AAS, dilatometer heat microscope,
viscosimeter, Datapaq thermograph and Mastersizer 2000.

S8 TIGER Elemental analiz için üstün
nitelikli analitik performans
S8 TIGER, dalga boyu esasına göre çalışan, X ışını flüoresan
spektrometresidir. S8 TIGER’ın sonuçlardaki yüksek kaliteli analitik
performansı yenilikçi optimize edilmiş X-ışını tüpü numuneyi daha
verimli şekilde eskite etmekte, farklı tipteki elementler ve özel
uygulamalar için geliştirilen yeni tipteki analizör kristalleri dedeksiyon
limitlerinin doğruluğunu ve rezolüsyonunu arttırmaktadır.
S8 TIGER her çeşit numune tipi için Berilyumdan Uranyuma kadar
olan tüm elementlerin analizini yapmaktadır.
XRF
High quality analytic performance for S8 TIGER elemental analysis
S8 TIGER is an X-ray fluorescent spectrometer, operating based on wave length principle. The high quality analytical performance
of the S8 TIGER in producing results enables more efficient excitation of the innovative and optimized X-ray tube sample while
new analyzer crystals, developed for different types of elements and special applications, increase the accuracy and resolution
of detection limits.
S8 TIGER can analyze all types of elements from Beryllium to Uranium for all types of samples.
AAS
Alevli Atomik Absorpsiyon spektroskopisi serbest atomlar üzerine kurulmuş olan bir spektroskopi dalıdır. XRF ile ölçülemeyen
Lityum atomlarının ve Bor atomlarının AAS cihazıyla analizini yapmak suretiyle, iki cihazın analiz değerlerini bir araya
getirerek, gerek emaye, gerekse seramik fritlerinin ve bunların hammaddelerinin analizlerini yapmak mümkün olmaktadır.
Tedarik edilen her elementin lambası ile istenen analizler yapılabilmektedir.
AAS
Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy is a branch of spectroscopy based on free atoms. This method makes it possible to
analyze enamel and ceramic frits as well as their raw materials by analyzing Lithium and Boron atoms, which cannot be
measured using the XRF, with the AAS instrument, and then combining the analysis values obtained from the AAS and the XRF.
Required analysis can be performed using a lamp of each element supplied.
DİLATOMETRE VE ISI MİKROSKOBU
Belli boyutlardaki bir malzemenin fiziksel sıcaklık ile temas ettikten sonra ne kadar uzadığı tespit edilip, buna göre, Alfa
eğrisi, Alfa grafiği, Expansion grafiği ve Coefficient of Expansion değerleri elde edilmektedir. Surface tenstion kat sayısı
tespit edilerek, Bir maddenin sıcaklığa karşı fiziksel değişimini görmek için kullanılmaktadır.
DILATOMETER AND HEAT MICROSCOPE
With this equipment, a substance of a certain size is tested to see how much it expands when it contacts with physical heat, and
accordingly the Alpha curve, the Alpha graphic, the expansion graphic and the coefficient of expansion values are obtained. It
also helps us find the coefficent of surface tension and hence see the physical change of a substance against temperature.

Türkiyede bir ilk: Emaye pişirme fırınları check up hizmeti
DATAPAQ MARKA TERMOGRAF (FIRIN ÖLÇÜM CİHAZI)
Emaye ve seramik endüstrisinde, üretim hattındaki pişirme fırınlarının fırın
rejimlerinin kontrolü ve kalibrasyonu için kullanılan cihazdır. Müşterilerin
kullandığı pişirme fırınlarının gerçek pano değerlerini yakalayıp
yakalamadığı ve fırının içerisinde homojen bir pişirme sıcaklığının oluşup
oluşmadığını kontrol etmektedir. Ayrıca, bilgisayar destekli fırınların doğru
şekilde programlanıp programladığının sağlamasını yapmaktadır.
A pioneering service in Turkey: Check-up service for
enamel firing furnaces
DATAPAQ THERMOGRAPH (FURNACE MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENT)
Thermographs in enamel and ceramic industry are used for controlling and calibrating the furnace regimes of the firing furnaces
in the production lines. They inspect whether the firing furnaces, used by customers, achieve the actual screen values and
whether the firing temperature inside the furnace is homogeneous. They also crosscheck whether the computer-aided furnaces
are correctly programmed.
Mastersizer 2000
Mastersizer 2000, dünya çapında çok çeşitli partiküllerin tane boyutu
analizlerinde kullanılmaktadır. Mastersizer’in özel optik tasarımı, 0.02 ile
2000 mikron aralığındaki partiküllerin etkin bir şekilde nitelendirilebilmesini
sağlar. Matersizer 2000 tam optimize bir lazer difraksiyon aleti olup
üreticilerin kolay ve hızlıca yüksek kalitede veri almalarını sağlar. Bu veriler
kalite kontrolü için ve gittikçe sıklaşan müşteri gereksinimlerine karşılık veren
materyallerin optimizasyonu ve geliştirilmesinde büyük önem taşımaktadır.
Mastersizer 2000
Mastersizer 2000 is used in grain size analysis of various particles worldwide. Its special optical design enables effective
characterization of particles from 0.02 to 2000 microns in size. As a fully optimized laser diffraction instrument, Mastersizer
2000 helps producers quickly and easily achieve high-quality data, which plays a very important role in quality control processes
as well as in optimizing and improving materials that meet ever-increasing customer requirements.
PİGMENTLERİMİZ
GizemFrit A.Ş., Emaye Sektörünün ihtiyaç duyduğu transparan, yarı transparan ve
astar kat emayelerinde kullanılmak üzere; kahverengi, mavi, sarı, siyah, kırmızı, yeşil
ve turkuaz renkler başta olmak üzere daha bir çok yüksek kaliteli pigmentler imal
etmektedir. GizemFrit A.Ş., renk konusunda uzman eğitimli personeli ile kalitesi yüksek,
maliyeti düşük pigmentler üretmek için ciddi Ar-Ge çalışmaları yürütmektedir. Türkiye
pazarının önemli pigment sağlayıcısı olmanın yanı sıra, uluslararası alanda da önemli
üreticilerden biri konumuna gelmiştir.
PIGMENTS
Gizem Frit produces high quality pigments (brown, blue, yellow, black, red, green and turquoise and many more shades) for
use in transparent, semi-transparent and paint base enamels required by the enamel industry. With the goal of producing high
quality pigments at low costs, the company dedicates considerable time and effort to research and development. Owing to these
continuous efforts, Gizem Frit is not only among the most important pigment suppliers in Turkish market, but has also become
a key producer in international markets.

Gizem Frit emaye frit üretiminde dünyanın sayılı lider ve öncü şirketlerinden
olup, bu alandaki başarı ve üstünlüğünü, sahip olduğu bilgi, tecrübe, teknik
donanım ve alt yapısıyla seramik fritlerinde de devam ettirmek için, Ar-Ge
çalışmalarına büyük bir hızla başlamıştır. Gizem Frit yerli ve yabancı seramik
sektöründeki gelişme ve yenilikleri yakından takip etmektedir. Değişen
teknolojilere uyum sağlayacak alt yapı ve donanım imkânlarını en modern
şekilde tamamlamış olup, seramik frit pazarının yenilikçi ve dinamik bir şirketi
olma yolunda hızla ilerlemektedir. Gizem Frit, Türkiye’nin seramik frit ihtiyacını
tümüyle yerli imkân ve iş gücüyle karşılamayı, bugüne kadar döviz kaybına
neden olan bu yarı mamul ürünü ihraç ederek, Türkiye’ye döviz kazandırmayı
büyük bir arzu ile hedeflemektedir.

ceramic frits.
Production of ceramic frits and pigments
One of the pioneering leaders of enamel frit production worldwide, Gizem Frit is
committed to continuing this successful performance in ceramic frits as well. Equipped
with the required know-how, experience, technical means and infrastructure, the
company immediately started the related research and development studies and
is closely following the developments and innovations in local and global ceramic
markets. Having invested in state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment, which are
capable of adapting to changing technologies, Gizem Frit is taking quick steps on the
road to becoming one of the most innovative and dynamic players in the ceramic frits
market. The company’s ambition is to carry out the entire production with local means
and labor, and to start exporting this semi-finished product, which, for many years, had to be imported, leading to a serious loss
of money for the national economy.
Frit, which is one of the most important and strategic inputs directly affecting the quality and appeal of ceramic products, is an
amorphous glass and it is a semi-finished product when alone. It is the main raw material of the glazes coating the surface
of ceramic products, which require, based on their purpose of use, different technical features. Gizem Frit’s product range in
ceramic frits include single and double fired wall tiles, floor tiles, third fire (vetrosa), ornaments, tableware and stoneware. The
company feels the excitement and happiness of introducing a new ceramic frit brand to the local and global market.

EĞİTİMLER VE SEMİNERLER
Altı Sigma
En geniş anlamıyla Altı Sigma, müşteri ihtiyaçlarını kusursuza yakın bir düzeyde
karşılama, Daha fazla müşteri tatmini, karlılık ve rekabetçi pozisyon için kültürel
değişim gayretidir. Altı Sigma projeleri Kara Kuşaklar önderliğindeki takımlar
tarafından hedeflerine ulaştırılmaktadır. Birer problem çözme ve veriye dayalı
karar verme uzmanı olarak yetiştirilen Kara Kuşaklar, bilgileri sayesinde değişim
yönetiminin öncülüğünü yapmaktadırlar. İyileştirme takımı üyelerine ise Yeşil Kuşak
adı verilmektedir. Yeşil Kuşaklar temel ölçüm/analiz yöntemleri ve bu analizler
sırasında kullanacakları bilgisayar yazılımları konusunda yetiştirilmektedirler. Altı Sigma eğitimleriyle beraber 2 kara kuşak ve
3 yeşil kuşak projesi başlatılmış, tüm projeler başarıyla tamamlanmıştır. Süreçlerin iyileştirilmesi, verimlilik artışı ve daha da
önemlisi müşteri memnuniyeti için, kuşak sahipleri sürekli düzenledikleri yeni projelerle Altı Sigma uygulamasının devamlılığını
sağlamaktadırlar. Kaliteli üretim için eğitimli personel anlayışını ilke haline getirmiş olan Gizem Frit, personeline kalite ve çevre
yönetim sistemleri, müşteri memnuniyeti , bakım bölümü, malzeme güvenlik gibi konularda ciddi eğitimler vermektedir.
TRAININGS AND SEMINARS
Six Sigma
Six Sigma, in its broadest meaning, is a cultural transformation effort towards perfection in meeting customer demands, increased
customer satisfaction, profitability and a competitive edge. Six Sigma projects are conducted by teams led by Black Belts. Having
been trained as expert problem solvers and decision makers, Black Belts lead the process of change thanks to their know-how.
The member of the improvement team, on the other hand, are called Green Belts. These people are trained about the basic
measurement/analysis methods as well as the computer software they will use during those analysis. Along with the Six Sigma
trainings, 2 Black Belt and 3 Green belt projects were initiated and all of them were completed with success. Black Belts ensure
the continuity of the Six Sigma practice by developing new projects aiming at improving processes, increasing efficiency and
more importantly, enhancing customer satisfaction. In view of the idea that well-trained personnel is a prerequisite to quality
in production, Gizem Frit delivers considerable amounts of training to its employees in such fields as quality and environment
management systems, customer satisfaction, maintenance and material safety.
Gizem Frit, Kalite ve Çevre'ye verdiği önemi sahip olduğu ÇEVRE YÖNETİM SİSTEMİ ve KALİTE YÖNETİM SİSTEMİ belgeleri
ve aynı konularda yapmış olduğu yatırımları ile kanıtlamaktadır. Çevre Yönetim Sistemi, işletmelerin çevreye verdikleri veya
verebilecekleri zararların sistematik bir şekilde azaltılması ve hatta mümkünse ortadan kaldırılması için geliştirilen bir yönetim
sistemidir. Çevre Yönetim Belgesi olan ISO 14001, doğal kaynak kullanımının azaltılması, toprağa, suya, havaya verilen
zararların en aza indirilmesini amaçlayan bir sistem modeli olmuştur.
Üretim esnasında sebep olunabilecek hava kirliliğini tam anlamıyla engellemek başta gelen hedeflerimizdendir. Bu hedef
doğrultusunda kuru sistem baca gazı arıtma tesislerimiz devreye alınmıştır. Bu anlayışla firmamız A grubu Emisyon izin belgesine
sahip olmanın gururunu yaşamaktadır.
The importance Gizem Frit gives to quality and environment shows itself in the ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM and
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM certifications the company holds as well as its investments in these fields. The Environment
Management System is a management system developed to enable systematic reduction or where possible, total prevention of the
environmental damages which are or may be caused by production facilities. ISO 14001 Environment Management Certification
acts as a system model aiming at the reduction of the use of natural resources and the minimization of the damages made to the
soil, water and air.
Total prevention of air pollution, which may be caused by our production processes, is among our top priorities. In line with this
approach, we established a dry type flue gas treatment system in our factory, and received Group A emission permission.

ÖDÜLLERİMİZ
İstanbul Maden ve Metal İhracatçılar Birlikleri, son iki yıldır, ekonomiye yaptığı
katkılardan dolayı, çatısı altında bulunan 6 ihracatçı birliğine bağlı firmalardan en
yüksek ihracatı gerçekleştirenlere ödül vermekte, firmamız Gizem Frit ise “Kimyasal
Boya” dalında iki senedir ihracatın yıldızı olmaktadır. 2007 yılında Swissotel
İstanbul’da gerçekleştirilen ödül töreninde sektöründe ikinci olan Gizem Frit,
2008 yılında ise İstanbul Gösteri Merkezi’nde düzenlenen törenle sektör birinciliği
ödülünü almıştır. Birincilik ödülünü Devlet Bakanı Kürşat Tüzmen’in elinden alan
Gizem Frit, ileriki senelerde de kimya sektöründe birinci olacağına inanmakta ve
bunu başarmak için var gücüyle çalışmaktadır.
Firmamız, Adapazarı Ticaret ve Sanayi Odasının 83 üncü
kuruluş yıldönümü onuruna düzenlenen ödül töreninde, çevre
konusuna göstermiş olduğu duyarlılık ve bu alana yapmış
olduğu yatırımlardan dolayı Çevre ödülüne layık görülmüştür.
AWARDS
For the last two years İstanbul Mineral and Metal Exporters’ Associations (İMMİB) have awarded
the top exporters within the six exporters’ associations operating under the İMMİB’s umbrella,
for their contributions to the national economy, and Gizem Frit has established itself as one
of the shining stars of the “Chemical Paints” category in the İMMİB’s top exporters list. The
second prize received at 2007’s award ceremony, which was held in Swissotel İstanbul, was
followed by a first prize in 2008. During the ceremony at the İstanbul Performance Center,
Gizem Frit took its award from the Minister of State, Kürşat Tüzmen. The company believes
that it will win even more first prizes in the chemicals category in the years to come and focuses
its efforts around this goal.
Thanks to its awareness and investments in environment protection, Gizem Frit also received
an environment award from Adapazarı Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The award
was given at the ceremony, which was organized in honor of the 83rd anniversary of the
foundation of the Chamber.
SOSYAL ETKİNLİKLERİMİZ
2007 yılında ilki yapılmış olan Geleneksel Gizem Frit Yaz
Festivalimiz renkli görüntülere sahne olmuştur. Her yıl Temmuz
ayında düzenlenecek olan festivalimiz, bu yıl fabrikamızın
bahçesinde özel olarak çimlendirilmiş alanda, çalışanlarımız ve
ailelerinin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gizem Frit, çalışanlarının
yanı sıra, bölgemizin saygın isimlerini de ağırlayarak, Sakarya'da
eşine az rastlanan bir festival organizasyonu hazırlamanın
verdiği gurur ve mutlulukla sosyal etkinliklerde de adından söz
ettirmesini bilmiştir.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
This year Gizem Frit’s Annual Summer Festival, the first of which
was made in 2007, was full of enjoyable moments for all the
participants. Attended by our employees and their families
as well as some of the most reputable names in the Sakarya
region, the Festival took place at the special green field in our
factory’s garden. It was an unparalleled and unforgettable
event, which proved Gizem Frit’s success in organizing social
activities as well.

Gizem Frit, kurucusu Merhum Yücel Ballık’ın adını bir ömür yaşatabilmek ve ülkesindeki eğitime katkıda bulunabilmek için;
Adapazarı’nda, bünyesinde16 derslik ve 2 adet ana sınıfını da barındıran Yücel Ballık İlk öğretim okulunu yaptırmanın
mutluluğunu yaşamaktadır. Okulumuz eylül 2009 yılında Devlet Bakanı Murat Başesgioğlu’nun katılımı ile açılmıştır.
Öğretim hayatına bu yıl Mart ayında başlayan okul yaklaşık 1000 öğrenciye eğitim yuvası olmuştur.

A big support for education from Gizem Frit:
Yücel Ballık Elementary School
In an effort to immortalize the name of its late founder, Yücel Ballık and to contribute to the national education system, Gizem
Frit built an elementary school, with 16 classrooms and 2 preschool classes. The inauguration ceremony, to which the Minister
of State, Murat Başesgioğlu also attended, was made in September 2009. The school, which opened its doors for education in
March this year, currently accommodates nearly 1000 students.
30 ENGELİ KALDIRDIK
Gizem Frit 30. Yılında, 30 omurilik felçli
engelliye 30 adet tekerli sandalye hediye
etmiştir. Türkiye Omurilik Felçlileri Derneği
ile beraber yürütülen bu projede, Gizem Frit
30 tane imkanı olmayan engelliye tekerli
sandalye hediye ederek, onları yaşama
bağlama yolundaki ilk adımı atmıştır.
2009 Haziran ayında TOFD ‘un Istanbul,
Bakırköy’deki vakıf binasında gerçekleşen
bir tören ile Satış Direktörümüz Ceren Ballık
30 engelliye hediyelerini takdim etmiştir.
WE REMOVED 30 OBSTACLES
In tribute to its 30th anniversary, Gizem Frit donated 30 wheelchairs to 30 paraplegics. The project, which was carried out in
cooperation with the Turkish Association of Paraplegics (TOFD), was meant to be a first step on the way to helping 30 disabled
people hold on to life. The wheelchairs were delivered by Gizem Frit’s Sales Director, Ceren Ballık during a ceremony at the
TOFD building in Bakırköy, İstanbul in June 2009.
