Imam Cagdas'in 1887'den gunumuze uzanan asirlik oykusunun adresi.
Imam Cagdas'in tarihi in 1887 yilina uzanir. Halep'ten gelen Haci
Huseyin Efendi ( Cagdas) kentin 34'uncu esnafi olarak Maarif'te bir
dukan acar. Daha sonra Gaziantep Kelesi'nin yerlesin alani olarak
ihtiyaca cevap vermemesi uzerin cevrede bircok han yapilir ve kentin
ilk carsisi olan Uzun Carsi kentin merkezi olur. Haci Huseyin Efendi'de 1898 yilinda Uzun Carsi'ya tasinir.
Haci Huseyin Efendi'den sonra isi devralan ve musseseye ismini veren Imam Usta, vefat ettigi 1964 yilina
kadar lezzet markezi olma gelenegini surdurur Imam Usta'dan sonra da oglu Talat Cagdas bayragi devralir.
Bugun asirlik aile sirketini, babasi Imam Usta'nin titizligi ile Talat Cagdas ve oglu Burhan Cagdas birlikte
yasatiyor.
Ise yeni baslamis gibi taze bir heyecan ve lezzet uretmenin mutlulugu ile ogleye kadar onluklerini giyip,

Hamdi Arpacı came from Urfa, Birecik to Istanbul towards to end of the
1960’s. He opened his first counter at the corner of the parking lot
situated next to Eminonu, New Mosque. With a small grill and itinerant
counter, he offered delicious kebab specialties to the small trade’s
people and to public for 7 years. Chef Hamdi’s kebabs became more
awareness. The continuously growing number of his customers made
him establishes the Hamdi Meat restaurant on the corner of the same
parking lot. The Turkey’s Southeastern Region’s unrivalled delicious
kebabs were offered to the appreciation of customers while preserving
their authentic characteristics and preparation methods during 18 years
in the same place. Following the purchase of the first 3 floors of the
building, Chef Hamdi expanded the restaurant to 5 floors together with
the others. It is still located at the near the same parking lot and does not only offer its services to the
surrounding business areas but also organizes the reception of tourist groups, arranges business meals,
and special traditional musical evenings. A matchless landscape of Istanbul, Galata, Eminonu, Sultanahmet,
Bosphorus, etc... The Hamdi Meat Restaurant has become a place of demand with its own impressive scene
of the place, reception capacity for 320 guests and well educated 105 employees. Chef Hamdi has
successfully brought the basic specialties of the Southeastern Cuisine to the heart of Istanbul and has
pursued his course to the present day by firmly preserving the original flavors and continuously developing

Mit einem kleinen Grill und einem reisenden Kostenzähler bot er köstliche Kebab Spezialgebiete den kleinen
Leuten des Handels und Öffentlichkeit für 7 Jahre an. Kebabs Chef Hamdi’s wurden mehr Bewusstsein. Die
ununterbrochen wachsende Zahl seinen Kunden bildete ihn herstellt die Hamdi Fleischgaststätte auf der
Ecke des gleichen Parkenloses. Die der Türkei unvergleichbar köstlichen Kebabs der südöstlichen Region
wurden der Anerkennung der Kunden beim Konservieren ihrer authentischen Eigenschaften und
Vorbereitung Methoden während 18 Jahre im gleichen Platz angeboten. Nach dem Erwerb der ersten 3
Fußböden des Gebäudes, erweiterte Chef Hamdi die Gaststätte zu 5 Fußböden zusammen mit den anderen.

conocimiento. El número continuamente creciente de sus clientes lo hizo establece el restaurante de la
carne de Hamdi en la esquina de la misma porción del estacionamiento. Los kebabs deliciosos
incomparables de la región del sudeste de la Turquía fueron ofrecidos al aprecio de clientes mientras que

In 1951; the fruit seller Ismet (DOKMECIER) from Uskudar, established
YALI GAZINOSU (Ismet Baba) which is now directed by the third
generation.
In those years, we were serving both as wine shop and cafe but after
1970 started to serve only as a restaurant.
During his thirty years of management the "BABA" (which means
FATHER) nickname was given to Ismet Dokmecier by the people
because of his personality. So that, after his death date 26.03.1981 his
children decided to change the name of the restaurant as ISMET BABA.
Today we, the third generation, try to improve the customer satisfaction and serving quality which were the
main aims of Ismet Dokmecier in the beginning.
Your satisfaction, taste and creative critisizm take big importance in this improvement.
Also, the biggest pleasure for us is hearing "thank you" while you are leaving.
If you have never to been Kuzguncuk or never seen here, which is the meeting point of the religions, and if
