DOĞANIN DERSİ
Bir varmış bir yokmuş evvel zaman içinde kalbur
saman içinde ormanın birinde yarasalar, kurtlar, kuşlar,
ayılar yaşarmış. Bu hayvanlardan biri olan doğan
ormandan bilmediği bir köye doğru uçmuş ve zengin,
ancak cimri ve kötü bir kadının balkonuna konmuş. Kötü
kalpli kadın eline bir sopa almış ve balkonuna gelen
doğana vurmuş. Zavallı doğanın gagası kırılmış.
THE FALCON’S LESSON
Once upon a time there were bats, wolves, birds and
bears living in a forest. One of these animals, the falcon, flew
to a village where it didn’t know and perched in a balcony of a
rich, but stingy and bad woman. The black hearted woman
took a stick in her hand and hit the falcon which came her
balcony. The poor falcon’s beak broke.
Bu arada bu cimri kadın fakir ama iyi kalpli bir komşuya
sahipmiş. Bu kadın doğana yardım etmiş ve iyileştirmiş.
By the way, the stingy woman had a poor but kindhearted
neighbour. This woman helped and cured the falcon.
Doğan da aynı şekilde bu kadına yardım etmek istemiş. Fakir
kadını ormana getirmiş. Ona bir sandık dolusu altın vermiş.
Bu arada kötü kalpli cimri kadın fakir kadının getirdiği
altınları görmüş ve komşusuna sormuş:
- Bu altınları nereden buldun?
Also the falcon wanted to help the poor woman. It took her to
the forest. It gave her a chest full of gold coins. The black
hearted stingy woman saw the chest full of gold coins and
asked her neighbour.
- Where did you find the gold coins?
Fakir kadın başından geçen olayı anlatmış. Hikayeyi
duyan cimri kadın hemen ormana gitmiş ve doğanı bulmuş.
Doğandan özür dilemiş ancak niyeti doğanı kandırarak
altınlara sahip olmakmış. Doğan kadının niyetini anlamış ve
ona iki sandık sunmuş. Sandıklardan biri büyük bir diğeri
küçükmüş.
As soon as the stingy woman heard the story, she went to
the forest and found the falcon. She apologized for it, but her
thought was to deceive it and to have the gold coins. However,
the falcon understood her intention and presented two chests:
One of them was big, the other one was small.
Açgözlü kadın büyük kutuyu seçmiş. Ancak onu kötü bir
sürpriz bekliyormuş. Eve gelmiş ve sandığı açmış. Bir de ne
görsün: Sandığın içi zehirli örümcekler, yılanlar ve yarasalarla
doluymuş. Yılanlardan bir tanesi kadını sokmuş. Kötü kalpli
olmanın cezasını kadın hayatıyla ödemiş.
The greedy woman chose the big box. However, a bad
surprise was waiting for her. She came to her house and
opened the chest. But what she saw: The chest was full of
snakes, bats and spiders. One of the snakes poisoned her, so
she paid her harm by losing her life.
