von Hagens, estetik sunumlarını

numunelerin bozulmadan
korunabilme yöntemi; plastinasyonun
mucididir. Ölümden sonra vücutlar,
Plastinasyon yoluyla, insan
bedeninin daha önce hiç görülmediği
biçimde izlenebilmesine olanak
veren, harikulade anatomik figürlere;
plastinatlara dönüştürülür.

sergileri alanında çığır açan Dr. von
Hagens, sürekli evrilmekte olan
çalışmalarının esinini Rönesans
dönemi anatomistleri ile kendi
kuşağının bilim adamlarından
almaktadır. BODY WORLDS
sergilerinde ve Yaşam Döngüsü’nde

planlayıcısı ve tasarımcısıdır.
Renowned scientist, Gunther
von Hagens is the inventor of
Plastination – the anatomical
specimen preservation method
that makes the presentation
of aesthetic anatomy possible.
Through Plastination, the postmortal body is transformed into
spectacular anatomical figures –
plastinates – that allow the public to
see the human body as it has never
been seen before.
A trailblazer in the field of anatomy
and anatomical exhibitions for the
public, Dr. von Hagens looks to the
anatomists of the Renaissance, as
well as this generation’s scientists,
for inspiration in his continually
evolving work. He is responsible
for the anatomical specimens
presented in the BODY WORLDS
exhibitions and The Cycle of Life.
Physician, Dr. Angelina Whalley,
is the conceptual planner and
designer of the BODY WORLDS
exhibitions.
