Dr. Ovun Isin obtained his BSc and MSc degrees from Yildiz
Technical University, Turkey in 1991 and 1995 respectively. He
completed his PhD at the same university in 2000. Currently, he is
working at Yildiz Technical University, Turkey as a Asst. Prof.
His main research area includes internal combustion engines, fuels
and combustion.
 Associate Editors of Editor-in-Chief: Dr. Tarkan SANDALCI
Dr. Tarkan SANDALCI obtained his BSc and MSc degrees from
Yildiz Technical University, Turkey in 1993 and 1996
respectively. He completed his PhD at the same university in
2004. Currently, he is working at Yildiz Technical University,
Turkey as a Associate Prof. His main research area includes
alternative fuels, internal combustion engines, engine dynamics
and combustion.
 Associate Editors of Editor-in-Chief: Dr. Selim DALKILIÇ
Ahmet Selim DALKILIÇ is currently an Assocaite Professor of
Mechanical Engineering at Yildiz Technical University, İstanbul,
Turkey. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from
the same university. His current research interest is on enhanced heat
transfer, convection heat transfer, single and two-phase flows of new
refrigerants and mixture refrigerants, and also applications in heat
exchangers. Dr. Ahmet Selim Dalkılıç is the member of Innovation
Explorer for Scientific Researchers Community sponsored by Elsevier
and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He has been
serving as a volunteer associate editor for Journal of Mechanical,
Aerospace and Industrial Engineering from Scientific Journals
International (SJI), and Advances in Mechanical Engineering from
SAGE. He has also been working as an Editor in Chief for Journal of
Thermal Engineering

PLENARY SPEAKERS:
 Dr.Ümit Köylü - Missouri University of Science & Technology, USA.
Dr. Umit O. Koylu is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the
Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Missouri
University of Science and Technology. He received his B.S. degree in
Aeronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 1986, and
M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of
Michigan-Ann Arbor in 1990 and 1992, respectively. As the Director of
Energy Research Laboratory at Missouri S&T, he has been doing research in
conventional energy systems (combustion, IC engines, coal power plants, thermal/fluid
transport), alternative power systems (fuel cells, hydrogen technologies, alternative fuels,
electric/hybrid transportation systems), and environmental science and technology (air
pollutants, particulates, laser diagnostics). His publications in leading international journals
have received nearly 2700 citations with an h-index of 25. His fundamental and applied
energy-related research has been funded by various U.S. government agencies and power
industry. He is the recipient of the prestigious NSF CAREER Award and several university
teaching awards. He is also on the editorial board of International Journal of Hydrogen
Energy.
 Mustafa Eser - Erin Motor Company - Şahin Metal Company.
Mustafa Eser obtained his MSc degrees from Yildiz Technical University,
Turkey in 1965. His main research area includes internal combustion
engines and engine design. He studied in Motosan Company between
1967-1980. He designed first single and two cylinders internal combustion
engine in Turkey.He is working as chairman of the executive board of
Şahin Metal and Erin Motor Companies.
 Somchai Wongwises - King Mongkut's University of Technology
Thonburi, Thailand.
Somchai Wongwises is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering,
Faculty of Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology
Thonburi, Bangmod, Thailand. He received his Doktor Ingenieur (Dr.-Ing.)
in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hannover, Germany, in
1994. His research interests include Gas-Liquid Two-Phase Flow, Heat
Transfer Enhancement, and Thermal System Design. Professor Wongwises
is the head of the Fluid Mechanics, Thermal Engineering and Multiphase
Flow Research Laboratory (FUTURE).

 Hakan Soyhan - Sakarya University, Turkey
Dr. Hakan Serhad Soyhan has been a member of the Department of
Mechanical Engineering, Sakarya University since 1992. He received his
BEng (1992), MSc (1995) and PhD (2000) from Istanbul Technical
University and did post-doctoral research in chemical kinetics at the
Combustion Physics Division at Lund University in Sweden and on HCCI
engines and chemical kinetics at Shell Global Solutions in Chester, UK.
Currently, he has been working on combustion modelling studies in relation
to emission reduction and control of emissions from transportation as an Associate Professor
in the Engineering Faculty at Sakarya University. He founded "Local Energy Research
Association (YETA)" and was the head of YETA till 2015. He is a member of associates in
the ASME Internal Combustion Engine section and in the board of management at the TeamSAN Co. (www.teamsan.com.tr). He is also advisor for several projects held in companies in
Automotive Sector in Turkey.

All authors should submit their full papers and posters using Submit Abstract on the
conference website below.
Virtual presentations should be prepared as an AVI video file having your 15 mins speech.
Please request a confirmation email from us on the delivery of your AVI file safely.
We will be able to present your presentation as a PPT file if you cancel your coming at the
last minute.
The presentations will be able to be viewed online by everyone from our university's official
website.
All accepted papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the journals. Only
