PRODUCT: MPG (Mono Propylene Glycol) Propylene glycol, also called propane-1, 2-diol, is an organic compound . It is a viscous colorless liquid which is nearly odorless but possesses a faintly sweet taste. Application: Forty-five percent of propylene glycol produced is used as chemical feedstock for the production of unsaturated polyester resins. Propylene glycol is used in veterinary medicine as an oral treatment for hyperketonemia in ruminants.
