MEET REGULATIONS
31st International Prince Islands Swimming Championship will be held at Kınalıada Su Sporları
Kulübü on July 31 - August 1, 2015.

* 2004 is the youngest age to participate at the competition.
Meet Rules

Each team may participate with as many swimmers as it wishes

Each swimmer may swim as many events – there is no limitation for participation

For the team competition Olympic Rules will apply – the team with the most Gold Medal will be
the champion. If there is a tie with the Gold Medals, the number of Silver Medals and Bronze
Medals will be taken into consideration
General Regulations

The Regulations of the Turkish Swimming Federation will be applied at the competitions.

The pool is 50 m x 25 m x 2 m, and has 8 lanes. The filtered sea water will be kept at 26 C.

Those who wish to participate in the championship should inform Kınalıada Su Sporları Kulübü
by July 1st via e-mail at [email protected] and forward their lists latest by July 15th.
Meet Awards
 The medals will be awarded to swimmers for the first
three places in each event.
 The cups will be awarded to the teams which have
the first three places in the final rank.
 The best international team will be awarded with a
cup
 In each age group, the owner of the best time,
according to the FIN score table, will be awarded with
a trophy.
 Special awards will be given to one male and one
female swimmer for the best time, according to the
FIN score table; and those swimmers will be
announced as the Prince and the Princess
 All teams will be awarded with a memory trophy for
their participation.

Information about Accommodations
The negotiated hotel of the competition is Merit Halki Palace which is placed on the island, called
Heybeliada second next to Kınalıada. The negotiated rate at the hotel is 50€ per person per day
which includes room and boarding (all meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner)

You are also welcome to stay in Istanbul for the durations of the meet.
