YDS Ýngilizce hazýrlýk alanýnda 14 yýldýr titizliðiyle tanýnan ELS, bundan
sonra yýl sonu Seviye Belirleme Sýnavý’na hazýrlanan ilköðretim öðrencileri için
de vazgeçilmez bir isim olacaktýr.
Dil öðrenimi, damlalarýn okyanusa dönüþmesini andýran bir birikimdir.
Küçük küçük sözcükler, kurallar birikerek bir anlamlar denizi oluþturur. Bu
noktadan hareketle, ilköðretim öðrencileri için “From Drops to Oceans”
konseptiyle baþlattýðýmýz ELS-Junior serisi, 4. sýnýftan 8. sýnýfa kadar olan

2007-2008 öðretim yýlýnda 6. ve 7. sýnýflarýn sene sonunda SBS’ye
girecekleri göz önüne alýnarak, ELS-Junior serisi bu yýl 6. ve 7. sýnýflar için
yapýlan çalýþmalarla baþlamýþtýr. Diðer sýnýflar için kitaplar önümüzdeki yýl hazýr
olacaktýr.
Deðerli Öðretmenlerimiz ve Sevgili Öðrenciler,
Hepimiz, eðitim-öðretim olanaklarýnýn Türkiye’nin her yerinde ayný
olmadýðýnýn farkýndayýz. Branþ öðretmenlerinin yeterli olmamasý nedeniyle bu
fark özellikle Ýngilizce öðretimi alanýnda çok belirgindir. Birçok okulda Ýngilizce
dersleri farklý branþlardan öðretmenler tarafýndan verilmektedir.
ELS-Junior serisi, bu gerçekler göz önüne alýnarak hazýrlanmýþtýr. Konuyla
