Competition Rules and Technical Information
FINA Regulations which have been in force since 01 January 2005 and the
Black Sea Games Statute are valid in the Black Sea Games Swimming
Competitions.
According to the Black Sea Games Statute, Swimming events will be held
with at least the participation of 6 countries.
Any problem which is not mentioned here shall be dealt with as follows:
- Black Sea Games Statute shall be valid in general issues
- FINA Regulations shall be valid in technical issues

4.1. Participation
1. Athletes born in 1989-90 / 1991-92 (boys) and 1991-92 / 1993-94
(girls) will enter the events.
2. Each country will be able to participate in the events with 8 athletes
for each age category (16 boys, 16 girls, total 32).

4.2. Competition Rules
1. In each event, 2 athletes can compete from each country. Their
scores will officially be counted.
2. Apart from the relays, each athlete can compete in maximum 2
events in a day and maximum 4 events during the competition.
3. Relays will be swum as open age.
4. Athletes will swim for team points in the qualifications and for medal
in the finals. The first ranking 3 athletes will get medals; the first 8
ranking athletes will get certificates in the final.
5. The first three ranking teams
qualifications will get cups.

4.3. Competition Management
4.3.1. International Technical Delegate
Events shall be held under the supervision of the Technical Delegate
appointed by the International Federation.

Turkish Swimming Federation is responsible for all the technical
preparations and arrangements regarding the Swimming events in the
Games
4.4. Drawing of Lots
Drawing of lots shall take place on 03 July 2007 during the Technical
Meeting.
4.5. Scoring System
FINA Rules shall be valid in scoring.

6.2. Extra Delegates
Extra delegates are not allowed in the 1st Black Sea Games.
7.
Entries and Technical Meetings
7.1 Entries
Entries to the First Black Sea Games shall be done in four steps as
follows:
7.1.1. Pre - entries
First entry forms were received from the related countries on 19 January
2007.
7.1.2. Entries by number
Second entry forms will be received on 09 March 2007.
7.1.3. Entries by number and name (Final entries)
In Final entry forms, the countries shall inform both their numbers and
names of the participants by 08 June 2007.
7.1.4. Entry confirmation
Entry confirmation shall be done during the technical meeting of each
sport.
7.2. Technical Meeting
Technical Meeting shall be held on 03 July 2007 in the Games Village.
Detailed information shall be delivered later. Two delegates will be able to
participate in the Meeting.

Referees
National referees shall be appointed in the competitions.
9.
Arbitration and Protests
FINA Regulations and Black Sea Games Statute are valid in the Black Sea
Games Basketball matches.
10.
Anti-doping
During the Games, doping tests shall be carried out randomly. Moreover,
blood and EPO analysis shall be done.
11. Medical Services
Necessary medical services shall be supplied at the following venues
during the Games:
1. At the competition venues
2. At the training venues
3. At the Games Village
12.
Prize Ceremony
The prize ceremony shall take place at the end of the final in the competition
Stadium.
1. Athletes will swim for team points in the qualifications and for medal
