The Ides of March seem to be hanging on with bluster y
days and cool evenings. And we are so glad, as soon
w i l l c o m e t h e “d o g d a y s o f s u m m e r” ! S h o r t l y I A A
will be winding down our activities to play catch
up during those summer days. Before we do, our

April so be sure to get those paintings finished and

juror and we want to be sure we give her plenty to

dues by the end of March 2005, you are not eligible
for this competition. This will change next season per

The Doug Dawson workshop was a great success!
We d i d n o t h a v e a s m a n y s t u d e n t s a s w e w o u l d h a v e
liked but those that attended were ver y pleased at
the caliber of his instruction and the class. Karyl
Barbosa deserves a big thank you and an atta girl
a w a r d f o r s u c h a g r e a t j o b ! Pa t t y V i s c a r r a w a s t h e
model for a day and did a great job!

A few years ago Sonya returned to painting in oils after a 20-year hiatus of
