EN - Revealing his pleasure to welcome the Foreign Minister of Brazil, a G-20 member and Turkey’s strategic partner, the President
promulgated Turkish-Brazilian developing relations are appreciated globally and the partnership between the two countries serves as a good
example indeed.
He further evinced his excitement about the visit by his Brazilian counterpart’s visit to Turkey in the months to come. President Gül and the
guest Foreign Minister exchanged their views on the Arab Spring, the relations with Israel and other regional developments as well.
FM PATRIOTA: WE WISH TO ENHANCE OUR COOPERATION IN TRADE
Brazilian Foreign Minister Patriota also shared his happiness to be visiting Turkey and shared their wish to boost Turkish-Brazilian
collaboration in trade in especially such areas as aviation and the defense industry, adding that they attach great importance to the
consultation they have with Turkey in both regional and global developments as well.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, H.E. Antonio Aguiar Patriota visited Turkey on 11-12 September 2011, in response to an invitation
extended by Foreign Minister of Turkey, H.E. Ahmet Davutoğlu.
The two Ministers of Foreign Affairs met in İstanbul for the third meeting of the High Level Cooperation Commission, established in 2006. The
Commission’s second meeting was held in April 2010, during H.E. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to Brazil.
Turkish-Brazilian relations -that have been upgraded to the level of strategic partnership-, as well as regional and international issues of
common interest had been taken up during the meetings

Gül, aralarındaki coğrafi uzaklığa rağmen her geçen gün gelişen Türkiye ve Brezilya ilişkilerinin küresel düzeyde takdir edilen örnek bir ortaklık
teşkil ettiğini vurguladı. Cumhurbaşkanı Gül, Brezilya Cumhurbaşkanı Rousseff’in önümüzdeki aylarda ülkemize gerçekleştireceği ziyareti de
sabırsızla beklediğini ifade etti.
Cumhurbaşkanı Gül ayrıca, başta Arap Baharı ve İsrail’le ilişkiler olmak üzere çeşitli bölgesel meseleler hakkında konuk bakan ile görüş
alışverişinde bulundu.
DIŞİŞLERİ BAKANI PATRIOTA: “İKİ ÜLKE ARASINDAKİ TİCARİ İŞ BİRLİĞİNİ İLERLETMEK İSTİYORUZ”
Brezilya Dışişleri Bakanı Patriota ise, Türkiye’yi ziyaretinden duyduğu memnuniyeti dile getirerek, Türkiye ve Brezilya arasında gelişmekte olan
ticari iş birliğini özellikle havacılık endüstrisi ve savunma sanayi alanlarında daha da ilerletmek istediklerini dile getirdi. Patriota ayrıca, başta
Ortadoğu olmak üzere, pek çok bölgesel ve küresel meselede Türkiye ile iş birliğinde bulunmaya ve istişare yapmaya özel bir önem
atfettiklerini ekledi.
Brezilya Dışişleri Bakanı Antonio de Aguiar Patriota aynı zamanda Dışişleri Bakanı Sayın Ahmet Davutoğlu ile 11-12 Eylül 2011 tarihlerinde
görüşmüştür.
Ziyaret vesilesiyle, iki ülke Dışişleri Bakanları, 2006 yılında kurulmuş olan ve Sayın Bakanımızın 2010 Nisan ayında Brezilya’yı ziyareti sırasında
ikincisi düzenlenen Yüksek Düzeyli İşbirliği Komisyonu’nun üçüncü toplantısı için İstanbul’da biraraya geldiler.
Görüşmelerde, Türkiye ve Brezilya arasında son dönemde stratejik seviyeye taşınan ilişkilerin yanısıra, her iki ülkeyi ilgilendiren bölgesel ve
uluslararası konular ele alınmıştır.

189th Anniversary of Independence

EN Consul General Michael Francis Gepp hosted a reception to the Brazilian comittee and their families September 7 in Istanbul to celebrate
Independence Day and he gave a brief speach to the Brazilian committee regarding the independence day and consular services .
The Independence Day of Brazil was officially announced on 7th September 1822 from the hands of the Portuguese. Since then the country
proudly celebrates the Independence Day of Brazil with lots of fanfare and excitement.

TR Başkonsolos Michael Francis Gepp Brezilya Bağımsızlık gününü kutlamak amacıyla Brezilyalı komite ve ailelerine 7 Eylül tarihinde İstanbul
da düzenlenen resepsiyonda ev sahipliği yaptı.
7 Eylül 1822 tarihinde Brezilya’nın Bağımsızlık gününün Portekizlilerin elinden alındığı resmen ilan edildi. O zamandan bu yana gurur, coşku ve
heyecan ile Brezilya`nın Bağımsızlık Günü kutlanmaktadır.
Visit of Claudio Heckmann / Claudio Heckmann`in ziyareti
Assistant for International Affairs, Government of the Federal District Brasilia, Claudio Heckmann came to Turkey to develope bilateral
relations with Turkey.
EN After visiting Consulates Office, Assistant for International Affairs, Government of the Federal District Brasilia Claudio Heckman, Consul
General Michael Francis Gepp and president of corporate security Mr Josias Nascimento Seabra visited Deputy General Secretary Muzaffer
hacımustafaoğlu at the Metropolitan Municipality`s Office to discuss how to develope social and culturel relations between Turkey and Brazil.
Mr Heckman also visited the Traffic control center. “We had very possitive discussions and I am impressed by the developed operations and
system” said Mr Heckmann.
TR Ofisimize yaptığı ziyaretten sonra İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesinde Genel sekreter yardımcısı Muzaffer Hacımustafaoğlu ile görüşmelerde
bulunan Brasilia Federal Bölge Hükümeti uluslararasi ilişkiler yardımcısı Claudio Heckmann, Başkonsolos Michael Francis Gepp ve kurumsal
güvenlik başkanı Josias Nascimento Seabra, Brezilya ve Türkiye arasındaki sosyal ve kültürel ilişkilerin nasıl geliştirilebileceği üzerine görüştüler.
Ayrıca Trafik kontrol merkezini ziyaret eden Heckman görüşmelerin çok verimli geçtiğini ve kullanılan gelişmiş sistemden ve işleyişinden çok
etkilendiğini belirtti.

A- Catalogue for Brasilian Importers
This Catalogue covers 7.672 importers which are included in records of Ministry of Development Industry and Foreign Trade and which
account for 78,32% of country’s imports. It has been prepared on the basis of last years’ official import records. There might be some
problems about up-to-dateness of firm information. It would be useful to make a search about every firm at their own web address.

1. The first line of the catalogue is Código do Sistema Harmonizado (HS). You should enter CTIP number – HS Code (first 6 digits) of the
product you intend to export.
2. 2nd line of the catalogue allows you to make search by Razão Social firm name. If firm name is not known, you may leave it blank.
3. In Estado section of 3rd line of the catalogue, you may select all provinces (todos os estados) or any province you like and may thus access a
list of importers to which you could sell your products. This may be left blank.
4. 4th section of the catalogue, Faixa de importação, allows you to make a search on the basis of import value size. Value interval takes firm’s
total import volume into account. This may be left blank.
After making your choices on the lines, you may depress “Pesquisar empresas” key to make search. Results obtained may be saved
on Excel format depressing “Salvar” key. Firms’ individual detailed contact information may be viewed on the opening file.
B- Catalogue for Brasilian Exporters

This catalogue composed of over 25.000 exporters and over 10.000 products allows you to have access to Brasilian exporters on the
basis of HS code and country exported to.
Catalogue also allows you to have access to firms on sector basis.
In this way, you may have access to Brasilian manufacturers/exporters using that product which is exported by your firm.

Furthermore, it is also possible to make search through National Industry Confederation’s exporters’ catalogue.

It is possible to make searches in English, Portugal and Spanish languages. Search can be made entering firm name, product name or product
HS code. It has been prepared on the basis of 2007/2008 export data.
C- Brasilian Trade Catalogue
You may also have access to firms on product and firm basis. While firm names seem to be exporter and import, this covers information

D- Brasilian Firms’ Catalogue
This is a catalogue which classifies Brasilian’s exporters and importers on sector basis. While number of firms is low in importers’ section, this
seems to be a serviceable catalogue. It is in English language.

This is a catalogue which covers about 4 million small- and medium-sized firms from all provinces of Brasil. It is possible to have access to
wholesalers, distributors, traders and manufacturers on sector basis.
It allows you to make search in all sectors under caption “Categorias”. Wholesalers are listed for certain sectors as ““Atacadista de …” under
caption A.

A- Brezilyalı İthalatçı Firmalar Kataloğu
Bu Katalog, Kalkınma Sanayi ve Dış Ticaret Bakanlığı’na ait kayıtlarda yer alan ve ülke ithalatının %78,32 gerçekleştirmekte olan 7.672 ithalatçı
firmayı kapsamaktadır. Geçmiş yıllara ait resmi ithalat kayıtlarına dayalı olarak düzenlenmiştir. Firma bilgilerinin güncelliği ile ilgili sorunlar
yaşanabilmektedir. Her bir firmanın kendi web adresinden incelenmesi faydalı olacaktır.

B- Brezilyalı İhracatçı Firmalar Kataloğu


Katalogda sektör bazında firmalara erişim de mümkündür.
Bu yolla firmanızın ihraç etmiş olduğu ürünü kullanarak üretim/ihracat yapan Brezilyalı firmalara ulaşabilirsiniz.

Ayrıca, Ulusal Sanayi Konfederasyonunun ihracatçı firma kataloğundan da arama yapma imkanı bulunmaktadır.

E- ENTREI.NET – Firmalar Kataloğu
Brezilya’nın tüm eyaletlerinden toplam 4 milyon civarında küçük ve orta ölçekli firmanın bulunduğu bir katalogdur. Sektör bazında toptancılar,
dağıtıcılar, ticaretini yapan firmalar, üreticilere ulaşılabilmektedir.
“Categorias” başlığı altında tüm sektörlerde arama yapma imkanı vermektedir. A başlığı atlında “Atacadista de …” şeklinde bazı sektörler için
toptancılar listelenmektedir.

Rock in Rio
PR - O Rock in Rio é o maior festival de música e entretenimento do mundo. Sempre zelando pela qualidade das atrações, o conforto do público e uma
infraestrura impecável, é um evento feito para todas as tribos que movimenta a indústria fonográfica, o turismo e a economia.
A ideia vem do empresário brasileiro Roberto Medina, que realizou no mês de janeiro de 1985 sua primeira edição, em plena transição da ditadura para a
democracia: o Rock in Rio convidou o Brasil a comemorar a liberdade.
Em suas nove edições, sendo três no Brasil (1985, 1991 e 2001), quatro em Portugal (2004, 2006, 2008 e 2010) e duas na Espanha (2008 e 2010), o Rock in Rio
reuniu mais de 5 milhões de pessoas, que aplaudiram ao vivo 656 bandas. Foram mais de 780 horas de música com transmissão para mais de 1 bilhão de
telespectadores em 80 países.
Com o mote Por um Mundo Melhor, o Rock in Rio sempre buscou o pioneirismo em seu modelo de negócios, visando uma atuação sustentável e socialmente
responsável. Essa atitude vai desde a compensação das emissões de carbono até a escolha de parceiros com atuação socioambiental. O festival procura, além
disso, o apoio direto a diversos projetos de sustentabilidade - ao longo dos últimos 10 anos, foram 4.803.357,00 de euros destinados a ações de educação e
conscientização ambiental.
Porém, mais importante que essa atuação direta, é a mensagem que o festival busca espalhar: a ideia da união de todos através da música - estamos juntos e
nossas pequenas atitudes no dia a dia têm grande impacto sobre o futuro do planeta.
EN Rock in Rio is the biggest festival of music and entertainment of the world. Always ensuring the quality of attractions, the comfort of the public and an
impeccable infrastructure, is an event made for all the tribes that drives the music industry, the tourism and the economy.
The idea comes from the Brazilian businessman Roberto Medina, which in January 1985 took place its first edition in transition from dictatorship to democracy:
