Caparol TrimaXX®Silky Matte® Synthetic Paint
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
®
Silicone resin based, wipe clean, half-matte (silky matte ) synthetic interior top coat paint with high covering
ability and whiteness which does not contain aromatic solvent and lead, and free of disturbing odors occurring
during and after application.
PROPERTIES
In contrast to all synthetic paints, it does not harm human health in living places during and after application
since it contains no aromatic solvent or lead. Thanks to the silicon resin it contains, it is highly wipe clean and
performs maximum resistance against yellowing. Provides excellent covering ability and whiteness. Suitable for
combing; offers easy application with brush and roller brush since it leaves no brush marks and does not lead to
dripping. Forms an excellent surface with chemical additives and silicon resin. Strong slick feeling on contact
after drying. Therefore, it provides maximum resistance against dusting and contamination in the course of
time. Performs maximum resistance against impacts, scratches and chemical cleaning materials used in
houses thanks to the silicone resin it contains.
APPLICATION SURFACES
It is used together with appropriate primers especially on interior concrete, exposed concrete, plaster, concrete
board, plaster board, OSB, MDF, wood and iron-steel-sheet surfaces as a top coat with the purpose of
protection and decoration.
APPLICATION
For wood (massive) surfaces, it should be applied on Caparol Holzimprägniergrund (Wood Impregnate). If

paste repair is needed, Caparol TriMaXX Synthetic Primer should be applied after the application of Caparol
Holzimprägniergrund (Wood Impregnate) and repair work should be carried out with Caparol Synthetic Paste.
After paste application, the lining is carried out again with Caparol TriMaXX® Synthetic Primer and afterwards,
surface can be painted with Caparol TriMaXX® Silky Matte Synthetic Paint.
For newly plastered surfaces, after scraping and sanding operation, Caparol TriMaXX® Synthetic Primer should
be used on Alpina Primer or Alpina Paste Primer. For old painted surfaces, surface should be sanded, cleaned
of dust and loose-weak layers that are not self-supporting and primed with Caparol TriMaXX® Synthetic Primer.
For highly absorbent surfaces and/or surfaces with dusting characteristics (plaster, lime, whitewash, surface
that has lost its characteristics, low quality absorbent plastic painted surfaces, gas concrete); it should be
applied with our transparent primers (Alpina 1/7 Concentrated Primer, Filli Boya Satin Gypsum Primer) without
combing/smoothening (by moving the roller brush on a surface by touring only once) and Caparol TriMaXX
Synthetic Primer should be applied. Surfaces prepared in this way should be applied Caparol TriMaXX® Silky
Matte Synthetic Paint as 2 coats at the end of drying time of the prime. For iron, steel and sheet surfaces,
Caparol TriMaXX® Antirust application should be carried out as 2 coats after necessary cleaning is completed.

Caparol TriMaXX® Silky Matte Synthetic Paint should be applied on metal surfaces, such as galvanized sheet,
aluminum, copper and zinc after Caparol Astarix is applied. Application may be carried out with brush, roller
brush or sprayer. Application surface temperature should be between +5℃ and +30℃.

THINNING
In brush and roller brush applications, thin the product with Caparol Synthetic Thinner D at a maximum rate of 5-10%.
Note: Product can be thinned technically with Caparol Synthetic Thinner. Since aromatic solvents are minimized in
Caparol Synthetic Thinner D, disturbing odors are prevented during and after application.
DRY TIME (at 20°C, 65% HR)
Dry time to touch: 2-3 hours
Hard Dry: 24 hours
CONSUMPTION
®
During application, an area of 15-20 m can be painted with 1 L of Caparol TriMaXX Silky Matte in one coat
depending on the type and absorbency of the material used on surface. (at 25±5 µm dry film thickness). A
controlled sample work should be carried out for precise consumption calculation.

STORAGE
Can be stored for 1 year at least in its original packaging in a cool and dry place. In order to store the remaining
paint in the package (if any) safely, add thinner you have used before until it covers the top of the paint
completely or close the cover of the package tightly, turn the lid of the package 180º 1-2 times.
