"Rose-Rose" Mittens (free pattern)

"Aux dentelles Dodile" 2013
Knitting socks is something very funny... and knitting mittens with socks yarn
too !
Materials: 2 balls of any socks yarn (220m / 50 gr), 80 cm circular needle :
2,25 & 2,75 mm.

Stitch markers.
www.chezdodile.com
Using the magic loop method ( tutorial here :
http://www.knittinghelp.com/video/play/magic-loop ), cast on 60 stitches with
2,75mm circular needles and distribute 30 stitches on each needle.
! Be careful that the stitches don't twist before to join in round !
Follow chart 1 once, then change for 2,25mm needle and knit chart 2,
increasing one extra stich between 30 and 31 stitches at the last row.
Go on with chart 3, using 2,75 mm needle again.
Be carefull : row 25, afer stitch 30 put the 25 center stitches on a stitch holder
and knit now on 60 stitches. Work rows 49-51 2 times and bind off loosely.
Thumb : replace the 25 stiches on 2,75mm needle, making 3 extra stitches
between 25iest and 1st stitch ( 28 st). Then knit 6 rows in stickinette, and 4
rows garter. Bind off loosely.
