This led us to determine the theme of the 9th PsychoanalyQc Views Symposium as “violence” which is an inevitable part of the human psyche and human interac>on. We would like to think together on the concept of violence in this world where the violence in flesh and bones strikes us almost every day. Rage, aggressiveness, hate, envy, destruc>veness, violence, death… Dark but indispensible sides of the psyche. This darkest sides of our inner world shape our psychic organisa>on, our rela>ons and our social existence; the violence we live in casts a shade upon our psyche.
