TİB 107- BEHAVIOR SCIENCES (3 Credit / 5 ECTS)
This course is primarily focused on the basic concepts of communication sciences. Theoretically
communication definitions, classification, importance, objectives, communication conflicts and basic
communication theory by explaining the importance of communication and relationships are examined in
terms of social structure. Also as the basis for the theory of interpersonal relationships in the course; self
and interpersonal relationships, friendships, relationships between people in conflict and coping
strategies, creating relationships between gender and people. The course also covers the impact of
culture; individualism, collectivism, feminism, uncertainty avoidance and create issues with the power
range of sizes. In addition, the behavioral sciences with basic concepts and behavioral sciences that
contribute to the study of organizations, individual basis behavioral model, needs the root cause of the
behavior, behavior plane, status and role behavior, the role of human behavior in the social institutions
and the importance of communication between people, groups, cultures, perception and learning theories,
behavioral theories and implementation constitute personality and self and attitudes.

TİB 108- HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT (3 Credit / 6 ECTS)
In this course, the concept of tourism events and tourism, the definition of the tourism industry and basic
features, tourism businesses, description of the hotel, characteristics of the hotel business, the historical
development of hotel management, classification of accommodation establishments, accommodations and
features, issues such as the development of hospitality management in Turkey and the world will be
examined. The principles of hotel management, managerial functions, strategies, policies, the hotel's
organizational structure, characteristics of administrative tasks, problems in the hotel business, to decide
and the control of management. Types of accommodation, portions, staff management and the physical
settlement plan of tours introducing businesses and efforts to practice, etc. issues will be addressed in this
course. Individual and group bookings, check-in and check-out procedures, room management and
cashier procedures, room rack, room status reports, floor plans, reports, night operations (night auditor)
block bookings, exchange, security and cryptographic operations, daily and monthly forecast and,
accounting reports, Fidelio menus such as accounting reports will be processed through the program.

In this course, science, scientific knowledge, following the demarcation of the theoretical framework of
concepts and phenomena such as the scientific method, is mainly focused on methodological approaches
for the collection of scientific knowledge in the social sciences. Research design; hypothesis
development; sampling; data collection methods; design of survey instrument; hypothesis testing:
univariate and multivariate data analysis methods; experimental design; qualitative research methods and
research report preparation. Research project to apply SPSS applications.

In this course the mythos-logos concept, features, functions, rituals and mythology of the research
subjects, origin, cult, will be focused on the prestige and eschatology. Myths of the Near Eastern myths of
Mesopotamia under the Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian and Ugaritic myths, the myths of Ancient Egypt
will also be compared. Myths of these issues while processing Anatolia, the effects of the Greek myth,
similarities, differences and especially the cult of the Mother Goddess in Anatolia will be examined in the
light of archaeological data. In addition, Chinese and Japanese myths of the Far Eastern culture, myths of
peoples of Central Asia, will be given information about the myths of ancient myths of India and the
