MINUTES
SECRETARY REPORT
The minutes of August’s meeting were accepted.
The committee was also to pay for some minor expenses on behalf of Burlington & Beyond- no resolution.
TREASURER REPORT
From the recent fund raiser and recent donations to the Paul Girouard Committee has left us with cash on hand
of $286.42
CHAIRMAN REPORT
The following points were made:
Burlington & Beyond has been successful interviewing candidates such as John Miller for Attorney General,
Mark Fisher for Governor, Richard Tsei for U.S. Representative, Mike Heffernan and Katy Zazzera Field
Director for the Mass Victory Campaign.
Additional candidates will be invited on as guests in the forthcoming shows.
Karyn Polito will be holding a fund raiser at the Café Escadrille on September 17th from 7-9pm. Suggested
donation is $250-$500 (or whatever you can afford).
There was a Pumpkin Patch update with Adam taking names to sign up for specific times to run the Patch on
October 25th.
Also at St. Marks, September 16th from 6-8pm, there will be a training session for Pumpkin Patch volunteers.
John, Adam and Paul offered to attend.

STATE COMMITTEE REPORT
Helen Hatch hammered home the need for volunteers to sign up for and to do whatever they want to do. This
includes: door knocking, telephone calls, holding signs, emails, bumper stickers, talking with neighbors, passing
out literature, donate money, letters to the editor -“Just do whatever for whatever for the Republican candidates.
Also the next State Committee Meeting will be held September 17th in Westboro.
Friday mornings at Cranberry Hill are the Citizens for Limited Taxation meetings
OTHER COMMENTS
A visitor named Blane Perry talked about Paul Girouard being very personable and also added the importance
of face to face time with voters.
NEW BUSINESS
Update on Paul Girouard for State Rep
Important dates:
September 20th – Celebrate Bedford Day – Volunteers are needed
September 28th - Fundraiser with Howie Carr to be held at the Great Wall in Bedford. There is a suggested
donation of $50
Paul has 300 yard/standout signs for immediate placement on busy streets and for stand outs.
