HATKO A.Þ., established as a family company in 1973, is a group of companies currently employing
around 250 personnel, active in various fields as production, importation, exportation, yacht tourism, offshore fish farming, defense industry, ship building, machinery and marine technologies, iron-steel trading,
importation of industrial and sized-coal for household heating purposes.
M. Ertuðrul HATAYLI, Chairman of Hatko A.Þ., is a member of the Supervisory Board of Blohm+Voss
Shipyard since 1996 and member of the Advisory Board of Deutsche Bank Nord / Hamburg since 2001.
HATKO A.Þ. enabled the realization of the 8 frigates built for the Turkish Navy as the representative of
Blohm+Voss Shipyard in Hamburg.
Starting at the end of 1970s and the beginning of 1980s, HATKO A.Þ. has been representing the leading
European firms active in defense industry and ship building as well as machinery and marine technologies
like ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems / Hamburg, Germany including Blohm+Voss GmbH Shipyard,
Noske-Kaeser GmbH / Hamburg, Germany, OTO Melara S.p.A / La Spezia – Italy.
As of the second half of 2004, HATKO A.Þ. became the distributor of Twin Disc International S.A. /
Belgium for Turkey and provides whole reduction gear, gear-box, clutch and PTO lines produced by
Twin Disc and also the supply of spare parts and post-sale services.

In iron and steel trade, sources are mainly Ukraine, also Russia and CIS countries as well as North
African countries such as Algeria and Tunisia and several European countries. Besides trading, the
services of transportation, finance, sales and marketing are rendered.
HATKO A.Þ. has been procuring low, medium, high-volatile metallurgical coal to the rolling mills in Turkey
for 26 years.
HATKO A.Þ. has continuously supplied coal to rolling mills eversince the first import of metallurgical coal
to Turkey started. While the very first supplies were realized from the U.S.A, connections were made
in Australia as an alternative source at the beginning of 1980s. HATKO A.Þ., as the leading firm procuring
the first imports of Australian coal, was honoured with “Certificate of Appreciation” by Senator Bob
McMullan, Trade Minister of Australia in 1995 as a result of contributions for the importation of Australian
coal to Turkey.
The coal import business continued with BHP eversince it acquired UTAH Coal which was the first
Australian company to import coal from.
HATKO A.Þ. currently procures coke coal from Energo Group in Ukraine.
HATKO A.Þ. has its Headquarters in Istanbul and a domestic office in Ankara along with a coal service
field in Isparta as well as international offices in Germany, Switzerland and Moscow.

HATKO Electronics ( RADE ) operates in Istanbul Avcýlar facilities where standard and special crimp
type cable terminals, terminal insulators, connectors and receptacles, O-Rings, crimping tools are
produced for house-hold appliances (both white and brown goods), electrical appliances and automotive
sector. HATKO Electronics, which is the leading actor in its market with over 500 customers and 500
product types, is the biggest local producer in this sector.
The production facility established in 1969 was purchased by HATKO Group of Companies in 1988.
HATKO ELECTRONICS exports to countries such as Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Israil, France, Germany,
Greece, Macedonia, Azerbaijan.
Hatsail Tourism and Yachting Agency – Royal Cruises Turkey
One of the Group Companies, HATSAIL, is a specialized travel agent in yacht tourism organizing luxurious
boutique yacht voyages. Besides the ownership of 35 meters long ( 150 tons ) yachts namely ALTAIR,
ALDEBARAN, SIRIUS and RIGEL, Hatsail also renders agency services of gullet, sailboat and motor
yachts on Blue Voyage route along the Southern Aegean and Mediterranean region. These special yacht
tours are customized according to our guests’ wishes.
HATSAIL is the authorized cruise agency of ROYAL CARIBBEAN, CELEBRITY CRUISES and PRINCESS
CRUISES companies in Turkey under the name of ROYAL CRUISES TURKEY. As the authorized sales
agent, HATSAIL also provides sales & marketing services of Holland America, Cunard, Silverseas,
Carnival and Costa cruise companies.

HATEK A.Þ has been marketing the products of Thyssen Polymer GmbH / Germany in Turkey since
1998. HATEK produces high quality uPVC door, window and winter garden systems by providing
installation and services of imported German origin Thyssen Polymer uPVC profile systems in Turkey.
HATEK has reached top segment of customers in a very short period of time.
HATKO Aquaculture
HATKO Aquaculture started to work in 1991 in aquacultural fish farming, still proceeds sea bream and
sea bass farming in Milas / Ören exporting most of its product to Europe.
HATKO Aquaculture is the first company that invested in an offshore facility in Bodrum. The capacity of
offshore facility is 1000 tons/year and investments are continously being made to increase the exports.
