• Bu çizelgedeki döndürme momentleri yaln›zca fikir vermek
amac›yla DIN ISO 261 standartlar›ndan DIN EN ISO 4762, DIN
EN ISO 4032, DIN EN ISO 4014 ve DIN 931-2, 6912, 7984 ve
7990’dan yararlan›larak oluşturulmuştur. Bütün değerler akma
dayan›m›, 90% sürtünme katsay›s› 0.14 olarak, yeni kaplamas›z
ve yağlanmam›ş c›vatalar için kabul edilmiş olup, yağlanm›ş
c›vatalar için bu değerler 20% azalt›lmal›d›r.

RECOMMENDED TORQUE VALUES (N·m)
• The torque values shown in this chart are for guidance only.
The “torque moment” reading shown are taken in accordance
with those laid down in DIN ISO 261 standarts as appropiate DIN
EN ISO 4762, DIN EN ISO 4032, DIN EN ISO 4014 and DIN 931-2,
6912, 7984 and 7990. All figures correspond to 90% of the yield
and the friction value is 0.14; assuming new bolts, uncoated and
not lubricated.

• In order to exactly define the pre-tension force and the tightening torque, it is
essential to know the coefficient friction.
However, it would seem almost impossible to specify definite values for the
coefficients of friction for the large variety of possible surface and lubrication
conditions and above all for their variance.
Added to this are the variances of the various different tightening methods
which also constitute a greater or lesser factor of uncertainty. For this reason,
it is only possible to make recommendations on the choise of the coefficient
of friction 80% of the tightening-torque values apply for countersunk head
screws on account of the remaining base thickness.

Aşağ›daki durumlar sürtünme değerini etkiler:
• Vidalanan malzeme yap›lar› ve yüzey pürüzlülükleri, yağlama metodu ve yağ cinsi,
ilerlemeden kaynaklanan malzeme esnemeleri, s›kma metodu, s›kma turu ve h›z› enson
s›kma mesafesi. Hatta DIN karş›l›ğ› ayn› olan iki vida farkl› üeticilere ait ise, üretim
lotuna göre, depolanma şartlar›na göre ve özellikle yağ veya gres kalitesine göre
montaj esnas›nda sürtünme katsay›lar›nda önemli farkl›l›klar meydana gelebilir. Lütfen
unutulmamal›d›r ki s›kma momentinin 80-90%’i birçok s›kma operasyonunda sürtünmeyi
yenebilmek için kullan›l›r.

Guideline values for the coefficient of friction µ
• In order to exactly define the pre-tension force and the tightening torque, it is essential
to know the coefficient friction. However, it would seem almost impossible to specify
definite values for the coefficients of friction for the large variety of possible surface and
lubrication conditions and above all for theier variance.
The following circumstances influence the friction value:
• The surfaces and the nature of the materials being screwed, the method of lubrication,
the sliding path due to the flexibility and the tightening method, i.e. the number and
the speed of the tightening cycles and finally the tightening path - the so-called hard
or soft screw case. The sum total of these items represents a greater or lesser factor
of uncertainty. Even DIN -equivalent screws con differ considerably in their friction
value because of being delivered by different suppliers, depending on the screw lot and
depending on their storage and, in particalar, on the oiling or greasing performed in the
course of installation. Please note that around 80 to 90% of the tightening torque in most
tightening procedures is required for overcoming the friction in the screw.
Important remark:
• For this reason, it is only possible to give recommendations on the choice of the friction
value. We point out explicitly that the following tables only contain guideline values. In
all cases, a detailed screw calculation is more reliable than these tables! That applies
particularly for parts which are relevant to safety, are subject to official regulations or
perform sealing functions. The tables should only be utilised where the manufacturer
of the screws or elements being connected has made no specifications on the required
tightening torques.

olmamas› gerekmektedir. S›k› geçen veya paslanm›ş
vida ve somunlar› kesinlikle kullanmay›n›z. Vida
veya somunlara sürdüğünüz yağ bu iş için uygun
olmal›d›r. Uygunsuz yağ kullanmay›n›z.
WHEEL MOUNTING:
• With the Dremometer, apply the torque evenly,
in stages, moving from one bolt or nut across to
the other, not around the wheel. Continue until
each bolt or nut is tightened to the prescribed
torque, After 50 km, check the torque levels and
then repeat the check at regular intervals. If the
manufacturer prescribes a torque level for the
wheel nuts or bolts, this must be strictly observed.
Always use the Manufacturers recommended parts.
Do not mix bolts or cones, or parts of different
sizes. Do not fit wheels mixing parts for steel or
light alloy wheels and always fit the correct parts
for the wheel. Always make sure that all parts are
in good condition. Replace stiff or rusted bolts and
nuts. Use proper lubricant carefully.
