It depicts the psychological states of a few people who differ from each other and are stuck in a hotel lobby after a prohibition. The play itself includes great amount of irony and the chaotic situation during the military action supports this. The comedy is an absurd one and it displays the rightists, leftists, coup supporters, militarists, paranoids, apolitics, impassives, that is all sorts of people in a society and describes how egos and the fears of these people take a shape under pressure.
