THE AMERICAN / EUROPEAN AlC GROUND SUPPORT EQUEPMENT
Scope of Basic Ordering Agreement
The purpose of this Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) is to establish general terms and
conditions covering purchase and supply for equipment, spare parts and services to
GOE by the supplier for a period of 5 years for American / European AlC ground
support equipment as follows:1- Provisions of Materials:a- Spare parts: the contractor to provide a priced recommended spare parts list to
maintain the ground support equipments listed and this list should include the
attached parts list done by GOE in Attachment A2
b- The contractor should commit that the supplied spare parts has to be packed
perfectly with enough storage life and certificates of those parts has to be provided
showing date of production, serviceability and storage life period
c- Certificate of origin of all contracted items must be provided.
d-All contracted
items must be new. (Must)
e- All contracted items will be inspected by GOE specialists before delivery to
EGYPT.
f- Support Equipment,
Test Equipment, Machines and Tools needed to support
intermediate and depot maintenance levels TechnicaL.
g- Technical documentation for maintenance, intermediate and depot repair leveL.
2- Provisions of services:The contractor shall provide GOE with the following services: a- Repair for ground support equipment / components in the manufacture site
...or-İn EGYPT by local representative / locar dealer. "
b- Training to support intermediate and depot repair level either in Egypt or in the
manufacturer site.
c- Technical assistance and on-call support.
d- The contractor shall provide G.O.E with any modifications carried out for the
ntracted items, and Provision of equipment, installation, testing.
3.
The contractor must provide fuıı data about country of origin for all
parts and sub-assemblies of aıı con.tracted items. ( Must)
4. Offer should include commitment from the contractor that all contracted items will be
inspected by GOE specialists at supplier site before delivery to EGYPT.
5. The contractor shall deliver such materials and services under the (BOA) against
purchase Orders (urgent i Routine) placed by the Government of Egypt to the contractor
from time to time.
6. The validity of this contract will be 5 years.
7. it will understood that the prices quoted by the contractor shall include the Price of the
articles contracted for:(1) Costs of transportation from factory to board of shipl at airport of shipment with
special seaworthy i airworthy packing for transportation.
(2) Any other charges and expenses incidental to the performance of this contract
taxes, duties, patent rights, bank charges, etc, outside of the A.R.E.
8. The procedure for obtaining the required Systems, equipments, installation and testing
from the contractor will be through Appendix as follows: Appendix A: spare parts.
Appendix B: materials.
Appendix C: Provision of repairs.
Appendix D: Technical Documentation.
Appendix E: certificate from supplier, material delivery.
Appendix F: packing and shipment.
Appendix G: Certificate of receipt from freighter
Appendix H: Certificate of receipt.
Appendix J: Inspection for completion of service.
Appendix K: Notice of availability.
