EFO H.V HRC fuses are used as a protective devices of distribution lines , transformers , engines and
capacitors from thermal and dynamic effects of short circuits and over currents. Because of they are
cheaper , simpler and much more reliable than alternative protecting systems , they used widely.
They have equal design for indoor and outdoor applications.
EFO H.V HRC fuses have high breaking capacity and back-up type. Back-up type fuses can break all
currents from min. breaking currents (I3) ,to max. breaking currents (I1). Their striker system serves
as an optical indicator and same time actuate a switching device or circuit breaker with its force.
EFO H.V HRC fuses are producing according to IEC 60282-1 with ISO 9001 quality system.Also
H.V HRC fuses have TSE certificate.
The most significant features of EFO high voltage fuses :

Reliable interruption of minimum breaking currents

Equal design for indoor and outdoor applications

Low temperature rise , because of low power dissipation

Reliable sealing for humidity and water

Reliable operation of striker mechanism

Melting elements resistant to aging

Production from 7,2 kV to 36 kV and 2A to 160A
-
Upon a request,fuse links can be supplied into no-standard dimensions.

3 different striker pin forces is avaliable; 50N(standart) , 80N(on request) , 120N(on request)
Also “ Thermal” striker pin is avaible. Inside of the EFO thermal striker pin there is temperature sensitive
element which reacts in case of temperature increasing of the fuse-link due to various reasons. EFO
“Thermal” striker pin is convenient for the protection of the fuse enclosure of SF6 switchgears which
requires additional protection features againgst inadmissible temperatures of certain switchgear parts.
