EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS:

2008 – present
FREELANCE
Working freelance with concert and festival productions. Worked as a Production Manager for the Opening Event of
World Basketball Championship with CIRQUE DU SOLEIL and local acts. Also worked for SONISPHERE FESTIVAL
ISTANBUL as a Site Coordinator for Istanbul show 2010 (METALLICA, RAMMSTEIN, SLAYER, MEGADETH,
ANTHRAX, MANOWAR, ALICE IN CHAINS, STONE SOUR). In July 2010 toured Sebnem Ferah (a wellknown
female rock singer in Turkey) for a national tour as a Production Manager.
I also take theatre jobs for stage management and lighting, sound and set designing. Worked in two runs of the show
BACKSTAGE GREASE (written and directed by Kristian Steel) and also worked in the play PSYCHOBABBLE from the
same director. Designed the lights and sound. Worked as a stage manager. Also recently worked as a Technical
Director in THE HAPPIEST MAN ON THE DEATH ROW written by Patty Gliniewicz and directed by David McCarthy.
Designed lights and sound. I was also involved in unique production of Eric Wallach called Flight 18. I designed and
produced all video projection material and also worked as the operator for video.

2005 – present
GNL ENTERTAINMENT
Worked as a promoter, production manager and a stage manager in concerts such as METALLICA, ROGER
WATERS, MARK KNOPFLER, BLACK EYED PEAS, ELTON JOHN, DEPECHE MODE, SUZANNE VEGA, PAUL
ANKA, ALPHAVILLE, KIM WILDE, EMMA SHAPPLIN, DUMAN, SERTAB ERENER, FAHIR ATAKOGLU.
Handled the promoter’s production management duties for the artists that are promoted by the company. Worked with
touring parties for a smooth running show by being the liasion between local crews and the touring parties
Moved to Los Angeles and opened up a branch of the company and started promoting Turkish shows in USA.
Produced shows in Carnegie Hall and Kodak Theatre. Designed and managed touring productions of well known
Turkish rock band Duman and jazz project Painted on Water.

2004 – 2005
RED LIVE PRODUCTIONS
Own Company, Worked exclusively as a freelance production manager with artists such as NİL KARAİBRAHİMGİL,
HANDE YENER, OGUN SANLİSOY, MANGA. Designed and managed their tours and one-off shows. Designed lights
and set.

2002 – 2004
SERTAB ERENER
Worked exclusively as a Production Manager with -one of the Turkey’s biggest pop singers- SERTAB ERENER in over
300 concerts in Turkey & Europe. Also managed her winning project for the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with the
song Everyway That I Can. Worked as a production manager in her platinum record winner single Everyway That I
Can and following album No Boundaries which were both released by Sony Music International.
Managed all relations between local promoters and the artist for the production in all her tours and one-off shows.
Designed lights and set. Supervised the designing teams such as lighting designers, sound engineers, set designers,
costume designers, choreographers.
Worked on the recording, mixing sessions as an organizer of all album production (preparing schedules, managing daily
schedules, setting call times etc.) and as a liasion between record company, A&R and artist. Also managed her
promotional tours for Sony Music International in 2004 for the album No Boundaries which were released in 14
Countries all around Europe and Asia.

1999 – 2002
AHMET SAN PRODUCTIONS
Worked as a Production Manager, Stage Manager, Tour Manager, Production Assistant, Tour Crew in concerts, road
shows and tours such as METALLICA, BRYAN ADAMS, JAMES BROWN, ROLLING STONES, GLORIA GAYNOR,
SERTAB ERENER, SEZEN AKSU, OZCAN DENIZ. Handled the promoter’s production management duties for the
artists that are promoted by the company. Worked with touring parties for a smooth running show being the liasion
between local crews and the touring parties.
At the same time worked as a touring production manager for the artists that the company manages. Such as SERTAB
ERENER, SEZEN AKSU. Designed and managed the productions of fashion shows, road shows and corporate events
that the company organizes.

1998 – 1999
FABRIKA INTERNATIONAL
Worked as a production assistant and backstage runner in MOONSPELL CONCERT, DANCE AND RAVE
FESTIVAL. Assisted the production manager and promoter in local issues. Worked on artist hospitality and guidance.

1995 – 1998
MARKS & SPENCER
Started the work as a sales assistant in retail store Marks & Spencer and promoted to be a Deputy Supervisor and
promoted again to be Menswear Supervisor in 1996. As a supervisor handled the reporting and analysis duties for sales
of store. Developed new layouts for the department to increase sales. Managed and supervised a sales team of 10
people.
