"Çok çekirdekli makine kontrolü" – 36
çekirdekli işlemci endüstriyel bilgi işlem
gücünü en üst düzeye çıkarıyor.
Merkezi kontrol sistemi mimarilerinin dağıtılmış kontrolörlü sistemlere göre çok sayıda
avantajı olduğu iyi biliniyor. Modern üretim
hatları ve yüksek performanslı, bağımsız
makineler her geçen gün daha kısa çevrim
süreleriyle artan işlevselliğe ulaşıyor; tüm
bunlar giderek güçlenen, merkezi kontrol
sistemlerini gerekli kılıyor.
Beckhoff'un yeni C6670 endüstriyel sunucusu, pazara giren en güçlü kontrolörlerden
birini temsil ediyor. Çözüme ait donanım
12, 24 ya da 36 çekirdekli işlemci içerebiliyor ve belleği 64 GB'tan 2 TB'a kadar
genişletilebiliyor.

Beckhoff'un otomasyon yazılım platformu
TwinCAT 3.1, her bir çekirdeğin kapasitesinin
tam olarak kullanılmasına imkan tanıyarak
C6670'in sağladığı mükemmel bilgi işlem
gücünden en yüksek verimi alabilmeyi
olanaklı kılıyor.
"Çok çekirdekli kontrol" kavramı, Beckhoff’un
sürekli ve uzun vadeli "Bilimsel Otomasyonu kapsayan merkezi kontrol" felsefesi
ile örtüşüyor.
Böylelikle makinenin PLC, hareket, robotik
ve CNC gibi kontrol fonksiyonlarına ek
olarak gelişmiş ölçüm teknolojisi, durum
izleme ve görselleştirme gibi daha başka
fonksiyonların da güçlü bir yazılım paketi
olan TwinCAT üzerinden geliştirilebiliyor ve
tek güçlü bir CPU üzerinde yürütülebiliyor.
TwinCAT 3.1 ile her bir kontrol görevini
mevcut çekirdekler arasında akıllıca dağıta-
rak tüm çekirdeklerden optimum seviyede
işlem gücü elde etmek mümkün hale geliyor.
Beckhoff C6670 geliştirilmesiyle çok çekirdek teknolojisinin avantajlarını artık makine
kontrol projelerinde de kullanılmasına
imkan tanıyor: Ciddi anlamda daha hızlı
ve daha güçlü makine kontrol platformları elde edilmesi kullanıcıların uygulama
üzerine geliştirecekleri fikirleri neredeyse
sınırsız kılıyor.
C6670, Beckhoff'un pazara sunduğu ilk
endüstriyel sunucu olma özelliğine sahip.
C6670, hesaplama yoğunluklu kontrol
teknolojisine ek olarak karmaşık robotik
veya görüntü işleme uygulamalarında da
kullanılabiliyor.
Panoya monte edilecek şekilde tasarlanmış
sunucu, iki Gigabit Ethernet kontrolörü ve
güçlü grafik kartına sahip ana kart, birlikte
çalışan her biri 6, 12 veya 18 çekirdekli
iki adet Intel® Xeon® işlemciyi üzerinde
barındırıyor.
2 TB'a kadar yükseltilebilen DDR4 RAM
sayesinde yüksek performansa ek olarak
dört adet PCIe x16 Gen III slotu, bir adet
PCIe Gen III x8 slotu ve bir adet PCIe Gen
II x4 slotu ile maksimum esneklik ve çoklu
arabirim kartları için altyapı sağlıyor.

yine artırıldı.
Kontrol panosuna monte edilmek üzere tasarlanmış C6670 endüstriyel sunucu bir
ana kart üzerinde, her biri 6, 12 veya 18 çekirdekli iki Intel® Xeon® işlemciye sahip.
22,5° yarıçaplı lineer motorlar sistem
tasarımları yelpazesini genişletiyor.
XTS: Daha fazla üretim esnekliği için
yeni motor modülleri
Yeni motor modülleriyle, eXtended Transport System'in (XTS) yüksek esnekliği yine
artırıldı. Düz ve eğimli motor modülleri
(180°), 22,5° yarıçapa sahip yeni modellerle
destekleniyor.
Bunlar, tam daireler, içe ya da dışa yuvarlatılmış yeni geometriler veya yuvarlak köşeleri
olan kareler gibi yeni hat geometrilerini
elde etmeyi mümkün kılıyor. Uygulamaların
yelpazesi artık daha da genişleyebiliyor.
Örneğin, esnek bir döner indeks tablası veya
tamamen doğrusal hat düzenleri gibi. XTS
lineer taşıma sistemi, entegre güç elektroniğine sahip modüler doğrusal motorlar ve
dahili pozisyon ölçümünün yanı sıra, 1’den
n’e kadar seçilebilen kablosuz taşıyıcılar
ve mekanik kılavuz raylarından oluşuyor.
Bu yüksek performanslı bileşenlerle çeşitli
uygulamalar, geometriler, uzunluklar ve
yarıçaplar gerçekleşebiliyor.
AT2020-0250 motor modülleri (+22.5°,
dışa bombeli) ve AT2025-0250 (-22.5°, içe
bombeli) XTS sisteminin imkanlarını hat
düzenleri bakımından büyük ölçüde geliştiriyor. Farklı doğrusal ve eğri modüllerin
kombinasyonuyla, hat düzeni kolayca en
geniş uygulama gereksinimleri çeşitliliğini
karşılamak üzere adapte edilebiliyor.
Tabii ki, yeni motor modülleri için uyumlu
kılavuz rayları da mevcut. XTS, ürünleri ve
biçimleri değiştirme, değişikliklerin çok
kısa sürede uygulanması imkânını sunuyor ve bütün bunlar için yeniden mekanik
yapılandırmaya gerek duyulmuyor.
Karmaşık ve pahalı mekanik sistemlerin
yerini esnek yazılım işlevselliği alıyor.
eXtended Transport System (XTS), yeni

–36 processor cores maximise
industrial computing power
It is well-established that centralised
control system architectures have numerous advantages over distributed methodologies. Modern production lines and
high-performance, standalone machines
incorporate ever increasing functionality
with ever shorter cycle times – all of this
calls for increasingly powerful, central
control systems.
The new C6670 industrial server from
Beckhoff represents one of the most powerful controllers to reach the market. The
solution can be equipped with 12, 24 or
36 processor cores and its memory can
be expanded from 64 GB up to 2 TB. The
immense computing power provided by
the C6670 can be most effectively utilised
when each individual core is leveraged to
the fullest using the TwinCAT 3.1 automation software platform from Beckhoff.
The Beckhoff “many-core control” concept
complies with the company’s consistent
and long-term philosophy of centralised control with integrated Scientific
Automation.
This means that in addition to the machine’s control functions – PLC, motion,
robotics, and CNC – further functions such
as advanced measurement technology,
condition monitoring, and visualisation
are all integrated into one powerful software package, TwinCAT, and executed on
one powerful CPU.
With TwinCAT 3.1 it is possible to optimally utilise all available processor
cores by intelligently distributing individual control tasks among them. With
the development of the C6670, Beckhoff
now delivers the benefits of many-core
technology to machine control projects:
there are almost no limits on users’ application ideas which can be realised by
dramatically faster and more powerful
machine control platforms.

The C6670 is the first industrial server
offered from Beckhoff. In addition to computationally-intensive control technology,
the C6670 can also be used, for example,
for complex robotics or image processing
applications. Designed for cabinet installation, the server incorporates two Intel®
Xeon® processors, each with 6, 12 or 18
cores, working together on a motherboard
with two Gigabit Ethernet controllers and
a powerful graphics card.
Apart from the massive performance levels
delivered by up to 2 TB DDR4 RAM, there
are four PCIe x16 Gen III slots, one PCIe
Gen III x 8 slot and one PCIe Gen II x 4 slot
for multiple interface cards and maximum
flexibility.
Linear motors with 22.5° radius extend
range of system designs
XTS: New motor modules for even more
production flexibility
With new motor modules, the high flexibility of
the eXtended Transport System (XTS) has been
increased yet again. The straight and curved
motor modules (180°) are supplemented by
new variants with a radius of 22.5°. They
make new track geometries possible, such
as full circles, inside or outside curves, or
squares with rounded corners. The range of
applications can now be further extended,
for example, by a flexible rotary indexing
table and individual track layouts.
The XTS linear transport system consists
of modular linear motors with integrated
power electronics and displacement measurement as well as 1 to n wireless movers and mechanical guide rails. The most
diverse applications, geometries, lengths
and radii can be implemented with these
high performance components.
The AT2020-0250 motor modules (+22.5°,
outside curve) and AT2025-0250 (-22.5°,
inside curve) greatly expand the possibilities of the XTS system with regard to track
layouts. With a combination of different
radii and straight sections, the track layout
can be easily adapted to meet the broadest
range of application requirements. Of course,
matching guide rails are also available for
the new motor modules.
The XTS offers the possibility to change
products and formats and to implement
small lot sizes in very little time, all without
mechanical reconfiguration. Complex and
expensive mechanical systems are replaced
by flexible software functionalities. New
areas of application which are possible
with the new motor modules include:
• Full circle with movers running around
the outside
• Full circle with movers running around
the inside
• Polygon, circle segments connected with
straight sections
• Step- and S-shaped track layouts
• Rounded-off rectangle with a freely
selectable size
This results in a significant expansion
in the range of XTS mechatronic system
designs with regard to the application and
the available installation space.
