Frank Krings
Deutsche Bank Group’s Chief Country Officer Thailand and General Manager of
Deutsche Bank AG Bangkok branch
Mr. Krings rejoined Deutsche Bank in 2011 after serving as Member of the Management Board and
Chief Operating Officer of Munich-based Hypo Real Estate Holding and Deutsche
Pfandbriefbank from October 2008 through 2010, mandated to assure the restructuring of the
nationalized group. Previously, he spent 12 years with Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and New York,
lastly as the Group's Chief Operating Officer for Europe and Member of the Management Committee
Germany, as well as the Global Chief Operating Officer of Regional Management and a Member
of the Regional Management Executive Committee. Krings is the Chairman of the Board of Directors
of the Association of International Banks, the foreign bankers’ association in the Kingdom of
Thailand, and a member of the Board of Directors of Deutsche TISCO Investment Advisory.
Krings is of German and French nationality, and graduated with a combined degree in Business
Administration and Electrical Engineering from Braunschweig Technical University.

Alp Atay
General Manager of Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Division,

Mr. Atay was Executive Board Suppor t to the Chairman and CEO of Bayer HealthCare at
headquarters in Germany before his assignment to Thailand in October 2013. He joined Bayer
in 2008 as Head of Strategy and Business Support at Bayer HealthCare Pharma, Turkey after
having worked as a strategy consultant with the Monitor Group for 8 years in various countries.
Mr. Atay is a graduate with Honors degree (BSc.) in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi
University, Turkey.
Dr. Florian B. Kirschner
Managing Director and Country Head of Evonik in Thailand
Dr Kirschner, who holds Master and Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Karlsruhe,
Germany, has 25 years of experience in management, sales and operations. He has worked and
lived in Germany, Brazil, United States, India, and Thailand.
Having started his professional career with the Precious Metals Division of the former Degussa AG
in Germany, Dr Kirschner relocated to Brazil in 1997. As Vice President BL Technical Materials, he
was responsible for the business activities in South America and later also in North America. Based
in the US since 2001, Dr Kirschner oversaw management and sales for the technical materials and
the catalysts business. He became Vice President Technology of Evonik Insilco in India in 2005 and
played a key role in the company’s development. In 2009, Dr Kirschner was appointed Managing
Director and Country Head of Evonik in Thailand overseeing the growth in Thailand.
Thomas Chambers
Managing Director Thailand and Head of SE Pacific Market Automotive
Continental Automotive (Thailand)
Mr. Chambers is responsible for Thailand automotive operations with manufacturing in Rayong
province and administrative offices in Bangkok. He assumed this role since arriving in Thailand in
2008, following the Continental global acquisition of the Siemens Automotive business. From 2006,
he held the role of Vice President, Toyota Sales for Continental Automotive, where he led the
company’s sales and marketing functions for global Toyota business in Japan. From 1996-2006, he
held a variety of positions; most recently Director of Sales at Continental Teves, Inc., the North
America headquarters of Continental Automotive Systems. He began his career with AlliedSignal
Automotive Aftermarket, where he held a variety of positions related to US aftermarket for the
Bendix automotive brand. He is an active member of the Thailand business community, having
served on the Board of Directors of the AHK German Thai Chamber of Commerce and serving as
an executive committee member for the Automotive Council of the American Chamber of
Commerce, Thailand, and the Automotive Council of the European Asean Business Centre. He
received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Rhode Island, and a Master’s
degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Steven de Jeu
Senior Vice President & General Manager – Fossil Power generation, Wind Power, Oil & Gas,
Energy Service, Siemens Ltd.
In the function of Senior Vice President at Siemens Ltd., Thailand since 1997, Mr. de Jeu has been
heading the Siemens power sector leading project sales, long-term service agreements and industrial
power solutions. He is responsible for the implementation of projects and delivering the
services under long-term contracts as well as the delivery of ad hock services.
His achievement includes the rebuilding of Siemens presence in Thailand, where Siemens is
currently serving approx. 70-80% of the SPP2 and SP3 market, as well as realized 4 combined
cycle power plants for EGAT, with capacity of over 750MW each. He brought Siemens the
first largest-scale Wind farm in South East Asia with an installed capacity of 207MW.
Prior to this, he led the boiler segment in the Project Management and implementation
organization of Siemens Power Generation Asia Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
