Dear Colleague:
We are in preparation for the Second MENA EUS Club Meeting which will be held in Bezmi Alem
University, Istanbul on February 20-21th, 2015.
For two days we will have live transmission from Endoscopy Unit to the conference room. Two rooms
of Endoscopy Suit will be operated. Different form our first meeting, this time transmission of live
demonstrations will be by satellite. Therefore the quality of images will be perfect.
We are going to compile very interesting cases for clinical and imaging as well as pathological discussion.
We are going to have cases of EUS, ERCP as well as HD and i-scan examination and submucosal
dissection by hybrid-knife.
In EUS session we are going to spare time for didactic teaching and a powerful interaction of audience
will be advocated.
There will be Radiologists for overview of imaging ; Pathologists for on site evaluations, as well as
Consultant Chest physicians, General and Chest Surgeons, in the meeting.
We are going to have time for video EUS presentations from participants. Please prepare a presentation
of 8 mns including one or two ppt slides (all in the same file) and bring it with you as a flash disk. We
spared time for 12 presentations. However we will spare more time in case there is demand for more
presentations.
Furthermore, in this event we would have the opportunity to strengthen the relations between the
Middle East and North Africa, mainly Muslim countries’ Gastroenterologists and we are happy that
our meeting will start on our holy Friday that reminds us the unflinching ties among us.
