The valves have been designed for above-ground use in conjunction with Building Regulations, (PART H1) and
systems designed in accordance with this document. FloPlast’s Air Admittance Valves carry the British Standards
Institution (BSI) Kitemark (KM512474), as having met the performance requirements of BS EN 12380: 2002 and
have been designated with an A1 rating.
Valve Body
FloPlast’s Air Admittance Valves provide a means o f ventilation to the drainage system to prevent the loss of water
seals in traps and consequent release of foul air into the building.
