Hello from the English Department!
This week in the Canaries, Doves and Parrots classes we continued learning about
the beach. We had lots of fun doing a cut, paste and counting activity with beach
things. We also watched a Dora the Explorer story “Beaches” where we practiced
our beach vocabulary.
We reviewed the words swimming suit, sunglasses, sun cream, beach chair, beach
ball, spade, bucket and sandcastle.
Our new words were flip-flops, sun hat and wave.
We sang the song Mr. Sun
Oh Mr. Sun. Sun. Mr. golden sun.
Please shine down on me.
Oh Mr. Sun. Sun. Mr. golden sun.
Hiding behind a tree.
These little children are asking you.
To please come out so we can play with you.

Bu hafta plaj konusunu işlemeye devam ettik. Bu konuda kesme, yapıştırma ve
sayma çalışmaları yaptık. Plaj konusunun geçtiği Dora the Explorer hikayesini izledik.
Böylece plaj konusuyla ilgili olan kelimeleri tekrar ettik.
Gözden geçirdiğimiz kelimeler: swimming suit, sunglasses, sun cream, beach
chair, beach ball, spade, bucket,sandcastle - mayo, güneş gözlüğü, güneş kremi,
şezlong, plaj topu, kürek, kova, kumdan kale.
Yeni kelimelerimiz: flip-flops, sun hat,wave- sandalet, güneş şapkası,dalga.
Mr. Sun adlı şarkıyı öyledik.
