Objective
Differential calculus; initial and boundary value problems. Special
Content
Functions: Factorial Function, Gamma Function, Beta Function, Error
Function, Unit Step Function, Delta Function and Green Functions.
Power Series, Taylor and Mclaurin Seriess. Fourier Series. Ordinary
differential equations and engineering applications. Solutions of
ordinary differential equations by Laplace Transform, Fourier
Transform and Power Series. Vector Calculus: Vector Functions,
vector differantial calculus, Gradient, Divergence and Rotational.
For each topic, after giving the theoretical information, a number of problems

are presented and solved. After completing the subject, some applied
problems are solved in the class and then homework problems are assigned to
the students.
Student shall attend the lectures, look at the subject before it is lectured and
go over the topics that are discussed earlier.
