PROPERTYNC AWARDS
The fourth Propertync Awards Ceremony, which is organised every
two years by the Propertync magazine, will take place in March 2014.
Preparations started a year ago and have been gathering momentum.
From the experience we’hv gained from our previous Awards, some
changes has been made to this years awards.

he fourth Propertync Awards Ceremony,
which is organised by the Propertync magazine every two years, will take place in March
2014. Preparations started a year ago and have
been gathering momentum.
The last awards ceremony took place in 2011
at the Rocks Hotel, it was a spectacular event,
hosting hundreds of guests including top administrators from the political world; investors
from abroad and property and construction
company’s representatives.
The ceremony was broadcast live around the
world via satellite, showing that the property
sector in North Cyprus is still alive and well

Bir yıl önce başlayan hazırlıkları tüm titizliğimizle devam ettiriyoruz. Sonuncusunu 2011
yılında, Rocks Hotel sponsorluğuyla Rocks Hotel’de gerçekleştirdiğimiz ödül törenimiz çok
görkemli geçmiş, geceye siyaset dünyasından
üst düzey yöneticiler, yurt dışından yatırımcılar, yüzlerce emlak ve inşaat şirketinden misafirler katılmıştı.
Ödül törenimizde, yurdumuzda emlak piyasasının tüm zorluklara rağmen ayakta durduğunu ve ülkemizdeki şirketlerin birçok kategoride ödüle layık işler yaptığını canlı yayınla da
tüm dünyaya uydu aracılığıyla duyurmuştuk.
Propertync Awards 2011’de ödül alan şirketler,
Propertync Award sahibi olmanın avantajlarını
yaşamaya hala devam ediyor.

Propertync Magazine tarafından iki yılda bir organize edilen Propertync Awards Töreni’nin dördüncüsü Mart 2014’te gerçekleşecek. Bir yıl
önce başlayan hazırlıklar gün geçtikçe hız kazanıyor. Geçmiş törenlerden
kazandığımız deneyimler sonucunda bu yılki ödüllerde bazı değişiklikler
yaptık.

company policy, we do not advertise participants either before or after the award night.
So, what’s new for the applicants for this time
around? Here are some of the changes from
previous Propertync Awards:
WHAT’S NEW WITH THE PROPERTYNC
AWARDS 2013-2014!
From the experience gained from previous
Propertync Awards, we have made some changes this year. Let us briefly explain them to you.
Our competition now has a website.
All information on the Propertync Awards
can be found at www.property-awards.net. You
can also find the list of last year’s winners, this
year’s categories, jury panel and all the information and forms needed to participate are on
the website.
All companies will be able to complete their
applications by sending the form that can be
downloaded from www.property-awards.net to
Propertync magazine.
SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN THE JURY
NUMBER
The jury panel of Propertync Awards 2013-2014
has increased compared to previous years. The
categories have been divided into three groups
to provide a smoother run and more practical
competition.
The three groups are: Architecture, Building
and Administration. The jury will consist of 32
experienced and freelance members, chosen
with great care and as professionals in their
field.
The jury has also been divided into the three
groups, based on their occupational fields.
They will function under: Architecture Group,
Building Group or Administration Group and
will only evaluate the applicants in their category.
Jury members from other groups and other
fields will not be involved with each other’s decisions. Your file will be sent to each of the jury
members once your portfolios have been received, they will then be evaluated and marked

based on the criteria determined by the jury members.
All categories and criteria have been decided, approved and published by the jury panel. We would
like to thank once more all the jury members for
taking this honorary duty, which is completely voluntary.
Following the evaluation of your portfolios, jury
members of the related category will visit you as
a group, observe the evaluations on the spot and
take their final notes. The jury panel visits will be
discussed with you and you will be informed beforehand. After the visits, the jury will get together for
the final jury evaluation meeting during which they
will put together their notes and decide on the winners.
The names of the winners will be presented to the
Propertync Awards Director in an enclosed envelope. You can find all the details relating to the competition process in our ‘Competition Regulations’.
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions of the
jury members or Propertync Awards Team who work
on the ‘Competition Regulations’.
WINNERS WILL KNOW THEY WILL BE RECEIVING AN AWARD BUT NOT WHICH ONE.
Here’s another change made this year: The winners
decided by the jury panel will be given their final
marks following the on-site evaluations and final
meeting. The names of the winners will be turned
over to the propertync Director and an appointed
noter in an enclosed envelope. The winners will be
notified within a couple of weeks. Even though the
companies know they have won, they won’t know
which award they will receive, thus, enabling all
companies attending the ceremony to enjoy the evening, knowing they are a winner.
As company policy, we do not announce the other
applicants of the category you have won. We are
sure you will respect this decision, which has been
made to protect the identities of the participating
companies.
WHAT OTHER CHANGES ARE THERE AT
PROPERTYNC AWARDS 2013-2014?
The Propertync Awards 2011 was held in the glorious ballroom of Rocks Hotel under their sponsorship. This year our award ceremony will take place at
the Cratos Premium Hotel, another wonderful hotel
in Girne, providing us with a different atmosphere
for this year’s awards.
The winning companies will celebrate their award
seated at their tables and be able to share the pride
with their families and company staff at Cratos Premium Hotel where we will welcome you to the fabulous atmosphere and spacious ballroom.
Our property award ceremony aims to make the evening entertaining as well as announce all the winners. In addition to a great meal, there will be music
and entertainment to help our guests celebrate their
awards.
Tamamen gönüllülük esasına bağlı olarak bu onurlu
görevi üstlenen jüri üyelerimize bu vesileyle birkez
daha teşekkür ederiz. Portfolyolarınızı değerlendirmeyi takiben ilgili kategoriye ait jüri üyeleri sizleri
toplu olarak ziyaret ederek değerlendirmelerini bir
de yerinde gerçekleştirecek, sorularını sorarak son
notlarını alacaklar. Jüri panelimizin size ziyaretleri
önceden size haber verilecektir.
Ziyaretlerin ardından yapılacak olan son jüri değerlendirme toplantısında gruplar kendi aralarında toplanıp, notlarını birleştirerek kazananları belirleyecek
ve kapalı zarf şeklinde yetkili Notere ve Propertync
Awards Direktörüne teslim edeceklerdir. Yarışmamızın işleyişiyle ilgili olan ‘Yarışma Tüzüğümüzü’
inceleyerek tüm ayrıntıları orada da görebilirsiniz.
Yarışmamızın tüm adımlarında aklınıza takılan bir
madde olursa ‘YarışmaTüzüğü’ne bağlı kalarak hareket eden jüri üyeleri ve Propertync Awards Takımı’na sormaktan lütfen çekinmeyiniz.
KAZANANLAR ÖDÜL GECESİNDEN ÖNCE
ÖDÜL KAZANDIĞINI BİLECEK AMA NE KAZANDIĞI AÇIKLANMAYACAK.
Bu yıl yapılan bir başka değişiklik de şöyle. Jüri
panelinin verdiği karara göre juri üyeleri portfolyo
değerlendirmeleri ve şirket ziyaretlerinin ardından
son bir toplantıyla tüm verilen puanları toplayarak
kendi gruplarında kazananları belirleyecek ve zarflarını kapatarak Propertync Magazine Direktörüne
verecekler Propertync Magazine direktörü zarfı açarak kazananları listeleyecek ve en geç bir hafta içinde tüm ödül kazanan şirketlere ödül kazandıklarını
bildirecek fakat ödülün ne olduğu konusunda onlara
bilgi verilmeyecek.
Ödül kazandığını bilen şirketler böylelikle daha az
stresle ve ödül kazanmış olmanın verdiği mutlulukla görkemli gala gecesinde bir araya gelecek. Şirket
politikamız gereği, ödül kazanmış olduğunuz kategorilere hangi şirketlerin başvurduğunu sizlere
açıklayamıyoruz. Şirketlerimizin kimliklerini korumak adına aldığımız bu karara saygı duyacağınızdan eminiz.
