Scope of Contract:
Lot 1: The replacement of existing distribution water networks and branch pipelines to multi-storey
buildings in the residential areas located in the north-western part of Chisinau Municipality,
generally
in the size range of between 50 mm to 300 mm with an estimated total length of about 33 km. Also,
replacement of about 7 km of individual service pipelines along the rehabilitated networks is
included
in the Lot 1.
Lot 2: The replacement of existing distribution water networks and branch pipelines to multi-storey
buildings in the residential areas located in the south-eastern part of Chisinau Municipality,
generally
in the size range of between 50 mm to 300 mm with an estimated total length of about 30 km. Also,
replacement of about 13 km of individual service pipelines along the rehabilitated networks is
included in the Lot 2.

in the offer and on their web site indicates that they are a design consultant and not a Contractor
or management Contractor. In accordance with the qualification requirements they do not comply
with general experience required under Table 2.4.1 of Instructions to Tenderers where there is a
clear requirement for a Contractor or management Contractor (abstract: Experience under
contracts in the role of Contractor or management Contractor for the last five [5] years prior to
the tender submission deadline, and with activity in at least nine (9) months in each year).
For both JVCA partners: lack of specific experience of at least one project of a nature and
complexity comparable to the proposed contract within the last 5 years, each with a value of at
least €500,000, or the equivalent.
