A Comparative Study of the Thermal
Performance of Building Materials
The study was carried out at the Kerkenes Eco-center in Yozgat, Turkey,
on structures made of four different materials:
Mud-brick
Straw-bales
Prefabricated concrete panels
Autoclaved aerated concrete
Temperature and humidity data were collected in the first three, twice:
Before heating
After heating
Simulations were carried out for all four, with ECOTECT.
