Competition between

2012.
All GfK Turkiye employees, clients, all partners and service providers were invited to the competition. This year GfK
Turkiye expanded the
borders
of
the
in more than 100 countries. Photos received
from 20
competition
to
the
GfK global
network
GfK companies around the world. This year’s theme was:
CHANGE. 271 photos competed this year.
The Jury and the Selection
The jury is composed of Prof. Nihal Kafalı and Asst. Prof. Çetin Ergand / Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University
Photography Department, Ms. Zeynep Boneval Atılgan / Hepsi-Hikaye and Mr.Muammer Yanmaz Photographer. The
jury worked with diligence and selected 26 photos in total. 21 of them were selected for the exhibition. 3 of them
were awarded as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners. Also, two photos received honorable mentions.
Exhibition and Award Party
An
exhibition
and joyful
party is organized on
27th September
2012 Thursday at The
Hall. 220 GfK Turkiye employees and clients attended the party. 21 photos, 3 winners and 2 honorable mentions
were exhibited at the party venue. The winners received their awards from Elçin Uner the Managing Director
of GfK Turkiye.
Awards
SONY, TEKNOSA and PHOTO WORLD Magazine sponsored our competition. Aslı Işıldaksoy and Didem Usluer
from SONY, Cenk Ordu from Photo World received their plaques from GfK Turkiye Managing Director Elcin Uner. 1st
winner was rewarded with a SONY SLT-A65 camera. The 2nd winner received a SONY XPERIA S Smartphone and
3rd winner was rewarded with a 1,000 TL Gift Card from TEKNOSA. All the award winners also received a 1 year
membership from the PhotoWorld Magazine.

The photos are still exhibited at the GfK Turkiye offices. GfK Turkiye is organizing the competition every year. Also
a GfK Turkiye 2012 Calender will be designed with the selected photos to be shared with employees and clients.
