În ansamblul patrimoniului istoric şi cultural-artistic românesc, Episcopia Romanului
ocupă un loc aparte, impunându-se printr-o existenţă pe cât de îndelungată pe atât de bogată
în evenimente şi contribuind la afirmarea oraşului ca un important centru economic, politic şi
de credinţă ortodoxă la răsărit de Carpaţi.
In the Romanian historical and cultural-artistic heritage, the Dicocese of Roman
holds a special place, imposing itself with a lengthy and eventful life, contributing to
the promotion of the town as an important economic and political centre, but also as
an orthodox faith sanctuary at the East of the Carpathians Mountains.
Roman tarihi ve sanatsal-kültürel mirasında, Roman Piskoposluğunun özel bir yeri
vardır. Uzun ve iyi bir yaşam sağlar. Roman Piskoposluğu, kasabanın, önemli bir ekonomik
ve siyasi merkez olmasını sağlayarak ayrıca Karpat Dağlarının doğusunun dini açıdan
ortodokslar için kutsal bir yer olmasını sağlayarak kasabanın gelişmesine katkı sağlar.

Muzeul de Istorie din Roman a luat fiinţa la
1 septembrie 1957.
Prima clădire care
adăpostea Muzeul se află pe strada Ştefan cel
Mare, nr. 202, compusă din două încaperi, din
care una era şi locuinţa directorului. Aici s-a
deschis prima expoziţie în anul 1958, care
valorifică
primele
cercetari
sistematice
întreprinse în zona Romanului.
The History Museum in Roman was founded on the 1st of September,
1957. The first building which housed the museum was located on Stefan
cel Mare Street, no. 202, consisting of two rooms, one of which was the
museum principal’s home. The first exhibition was opened here in 1958,
capitalizing the first systematic research undertaken in the area of Roman.
Roman’daki Tarih Müzesi 1 Eylül 1957 tarihinde kurulmuştur. Müzeye ev
sahipliği yapan, birisi müze müdürünün evi olan iki odalı ilk bina, Stefan cel
Mare Caddesinde bulunmaktaydı. Burada, Roman bölgesinin ilk sistemli
araştırmasını içeren ilk sergi 1958 yılında açıldı.

Muzeul a fost înfiinţat în anul 1965. Clădirea muzeului este monument de
arhitectură din secolul al XIX-lea, a adăpostit Fundaţia MELCHISEDEC - şcoala de
cantareţi, până în 1948. Ulterior a fost casă de locuit. Din 1962 - o clădire - şi din 1982 a
doua clădire, devin proprietatea muzeului. Muzeul deţine colecţii de floră şi faună din
lunca Siretului.
The museum was set up in 1965. The muzeum’s building in an architectural
monument from XIX century, shealtered MELCHISEDEC Foundation – singers
school until 1948. Later, it was a home. From 1962 – onq building – and from 1982 a
second building, becoming the muzeum’s property. The museum has flora and fauna
collections from Siret’s meadow.
Müze, 1965 yılında kuruldu. 19. yüzyıl mimari yapısına sahip olan müze binası,
1948 yılına kadar müzik okulu – MELCHISEDEC Kurumu- olarak kullanılmıştır. Daha
sonra ev haline getirildi. 1962’de ilk bina, 1982’de de ikinci bina müze olmuştur.
Müzede, Siret otlağındaki bitki örtüsü ve hayvan topluluğu örnekleri vardır.

În primii ani ai existenţei sale muzeul a funcţionat în acelaşi local cu
Muzeul de Istorie. Spaţiul afectat era însă mult prea restrâns. Din 1970 Muzeul
de Artă îşi găseşte un sediu adecvat situat pe str. Mihai Eminescu, nr. 3, pus în
valoare şi de ambianţa naturală generoasă. Este o clădire monument de
arhitectură, construită la sfârşitul sec. al XIX-lea.
At the beginning of its existence, The Art Museum and the History
Museum had been hosted by the same building. The space for these two
had been too small, though. Since 1970 The Art Museum has found a more
suitable site, located on Mihai Eminescu Street, no.3, highlighted by
wonderful natural environment. The building is an architectural
monument, built in the late 19th century.
Önceleri, Sanat Müzesi ve Tarih Müzesi aynı binada bulunmaktaydı.
Ancak, her iki müzeye ayrılan bölüm çok küçüktü. 1970’den beri Sanat Müzesi,
Mihai Eminescu Caddesi, no. 3’de bulunmaktadır ve burası, doğal bir güzelliğe
sahip muhteşem bir yerdir. Bina, 19. yüzyıl sonlarında inşa edilmiş mimari bir
eserdir.
