C
arrying on performing its duties in Bakü Şah Deniz 2 project, hareket has
completed the erection of the heaviest part of off-shore platform construction.
Hareket has lifted 05 numbered part of PR platform (weather deck) which weighs
1028 tonnes by four Demag CC 2800-1 crawler cranes which each of them has 600
tonnes capacity and moved the part 130 meters and mounted it successfully to a
30 meters height mounting place.

Kıyıköy Wind Power Plant erections are going on full steam ahead
A
s continuing countrywide Wind power Plant erections
without slowing down, hareket is continuing its
transport and erection operations under Kıyıköy
Windpower Plant project. hareket took deliveries
of fifteen 3 MW Delta type towers and the wings
with a 57,5 mt length from İzmir TPI and also took 5 sets of tower
from Balıkesir Gesbey and 10 sets of tower from Gemlik Çimtaş and
delivered this equipment to Windpower Plant construction area
in Kıyıköy. Furthermore, while other equipment such as 6 sets of
imported nacelle and drive train etc. were being transported to the
construction area, 9 sets of equipment also transported to Kırklareli
from Germany by land. As performing erection operations as well as
the transporting operations, hareket uses Liebherr LTM 1500 with
500 tonnes capacity and Demag AC 200-1 with 200 tonnes capacity
mobile cranes for the pre-erections under the project. hareket will
use a Demag CC 2800-1 or NT crawler crane and carry out all electrical
and mechanical installations with its experienced team on the
incoming parts of the project. It is expected that this project which
was started on 08 June 2015 to be completed by the end of 2015.
Mission Completed in Akbük Wind Power Plant
A
s continuing Windpower Plant transportations and erections all around Turkey, hareket completed
erection of 4 pieces 2.4 MW N117/R91 Gamma wind turbines. hareket accepted delivery of turbine towers
from Gemlik Çimtaş and other parts from İzmir Aliağa port and transported them to Akbük. hareket has
completed erection works following the transportation by using a Demag CC 2800-1 crawler crane with 600
tonnes capacity, a Demag AC 200 with 200 tonnes capacity and a Liebherr LTM 1120 mobile crane with 120
tonnes capacity and three 5 axle and five 6 to 8 axle hydraulic trailers.

A 380 tonnes tugboat
transported to the pool
h
areket transported a tugboat with a size of 25x10x7 meters and
weight of 380 tonnes produced by the Uzmar Shipyard operating at
Gölcük Free Zone, from its building place to a pool in the shipyard.
A 16 axle hydraulic trailer splitter was used in the project and the
tugboat was delivered successfully to the pool.
Steel chimneys transported to Iraq
C
ontinuing to provide ongoing support to energy investments in Iraq, hareket
transported 3 steel chimneys ranging in weight from 9 to 11 tons. hareket
took the steel chimneys with a length of 6 meters and a width of 6 meters, and
a height of 5 meters approximately from Iskenderun Assan Port and delivered
them to the Iraqi Sulaimaniyah Bazian construction site. hareket used a 5 axle
Faymonville Variomax pool trailer and Volvo two-wheel drive tractor in the transport operations.
Ship blocks transported
h
areket has performed significant transportation works at
the Tuzla Shipyards area. Two ships blocks were taken from
Tuzla Orhanlı Leather Industry Organized Zone and delivered
to Sanmar Maritime Company at the Tuzla Shipyards. Having
successfully delivered the block the biggest of which is 12
meters long, 7.5 meters wide, 6.5 meters high and weighing 65 tons, during
the transportation operations the barriers of a total of 16 street lights,
demounting of 4 street lights and 18 traffic signs. An 8 axle Goldhofer
hydraulic trailer, and one 4 axles Tırsan hydraulic trailer were used in
hareket’s operations.

Transformers transferred to Erbil
W
ithin the scope of hareket’s
ongoing energy projects in Iraq, 2
transformers weighing 165 tonnes
were transported to Erbil Combined
Cycle Power Plant. Having taken hold
of the transformers at ABB’s headquarter in Istanbul Kartal
and transported by land to Derince Port for loading to the
ship, has taken the transformers from İskenderun Assan Port
and successfully moved them to Erbil in Iraq. During the
movement of transformers of 4.85 meters in height, many
by-passes were made on the Turkish and Iraqi route, and
the transformers were assembled at the project site through
a spindle jack gantry system and a shift sled. As part of the
project, two 8 axle pool trailers were used between Istanbul
Kartal - Derince Port 2 and 14 axle hydraulic trailers between
Iskenderun Assan Port and Iraq Erbil.

ontinuing to strengthen its lifting and moving equipment through
investments, hareket increased its number of SPMT axles from 68 to
82 with their latest purchases. While hareket preferred the Goldhofer
brand in its 14 axle SPMT investment, the package contains one 6 axle
SPMT, two 4 axle SPMT’s and one Power Pack.
