CONVERSION TABLES
The formula and the tables are used to convert yarn and fiber from one numbering or designation system to
another and to the international tex system (see; ISO 1144-1973 : Tex system for defining the counts of textile
fibers. intermediate products yarnd and related products).
The tables on the following pages (conversion formula) show the conversion formula to and from each

for
the
most
commonly
used
of
these
designation
systems.
