Course Description: Microorganisms, enzymes, metabolic pathways and fundamental concepts including
bioreactors and separation and purification processes
Dersin Amacı ve Mesleki Eğitime Katkısı:
Bu derste biyoteknolojik süreçlerde kullanılan biyolojik, kimyasal ve mühendisliğe ait kavramlar ve
uygulamaların genel hatları tanıtılır, süreçlere örnekler verilir. Böylece varolan biyoteknolojik süreçlerin
anlaşılması ve yenilerinin geliştirilmesi için gerekli bilgi sağlanmış olur.
Course Objectives:
This course introduces and exemplifies general biological, chemical and engineering applications. This enables
understanding of present biotechnological processes and developing newer Technologies.
