Casa Lapostolle, nesiller boyu flarap üreten Frans›z bir ailenin uzmanl›¤› ile fiili'nin verimli topra¤›n› birlefltirerek
dünya çap›nda flaraplara imza at›yor. fiilili mimar Roberto
Benavente'nin eseri olan flaraphane binas›, dünyada üretim
aflamalar›nda yüzde yüz yerçekiminden yararlanan befl
flarap tesisinden biri. 8 milyon dolarl›k yat›r›mla infla edilen
alt› katl› yap›, bir tepenin içine 25 metre kadar gömülecek
flekilde tasarlanm›fl. Toplanan üzümler önce ilk kata geliyor
ve yerçekimiyle bir üretim aflamas›ndan di¤erine
aktar›ld›ktan sonra, beflinci katta y›lland›rma odas›ndaki
f›ç›larda dinlenmeye al›n›yor. Hemen alt›nda ise flaraphenin
özel “flarap kütüphanesi” var!
Casa Lapostolle’un spesyalitesi Clos Apalta
flarab›; Merlot, Petit Verdot, Carmenere ve
Cabernet Sauvignon üzümlerinden elde
ediliyor.
Casa Lapostolle’s specialty is Clos Apalta wine,
which is provided in limited editions and is a
blend of Merlot, Petit Verdot, Carmenere and
Cabernet Sauvignon.

Casa Lapostolle produces world-class wines combining the
expertise of a wine producing French family with the fertile
terroir of Chile. The facility was designed by Chilean architect
Roberto Benavente and is one of the five 100% gravity-flow
wineries in the world. The winery, constructed with an investment of 8 millon US dollars, extends into a hill for 25 meters
in 6 floors. Grapes are received at the top and gravity takes
over the process, which ends in aging facility on the fifth level underground. Private wine library of the property is right
downstairs.

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, tarihi Stags Leap ba¤lar›ndan elde

Korfu Adas›'nda Lord Rotschild için tasarlad›¤› bir yeralt› villas›n›n foto¤raf›n› gördükten sonra, mahzen projesini Barselonal› mimar Javier Barba'ya vermifl. Yuvarlak bir meydanda
birleflen befl yeralt› tünelinden oluflan mahzen, Stag's Leap
Cellars'›n ünlü k›rm›z›lar›n› y›lland›rmak için ideal koflullar›
sunuyor.
Founded by Warren and Barbara Winiarski in 1972, Stag's
Leap Wine Cellars produces renowned Cabernet Sauvignons
at its historic Stags Leap District vineyards. The cellar is best
known for its estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon called S.L.V.,
which is a red produced from the same fruit winning the 1976
Paris Tasting. Warren Winiarski, the founder of the cellar,
commissioned the building to the Barcelona based architect
Javier Barba after seeing a photo of an earth rooted villa he
designed for Lord Rotschild in Corfu Island. Five cave tunnels
converging on a circular piazza provides ideal temperature
and humidity for aging the celebrated red wines of the cellar.

Reserva flarab›, fliflelenmeden önce 14-18 ay
kadar bekletiliyor ve mükemmel k›vam›na
ulaflmadan önce fliflede 36 ay daha bekletiliyor.
Reserva wine matures for 14-18 months before
it is bottled and held for at least 36 months to
earn its distinction. The winery can store
1,500,00 bottles at a time.

This 80,000-square-foot winery is a “signature work” by
famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, whose Gaudilike organic designs ornament many Spanish and European
cities. The winery's name is inspired by Ysis, the Egyptian
goddess of wine and it is a testimony to a new generation
winemakers in Spain, who are willing to make big investments in unconventional wineries. Wavelike roof of the
winery resembles the outline of a row of barrells. The house
product of Ysios is a red wine titled “Reserva” and is composed of 100 % Temprenillo grapes. Visitors can view the production line from a mezzanine-level gallery.

150.000 hektarl›k ba¤lar› ve 900 flaraphanesiyle Arjantin'in
en önemli flarap üretim bölgesi olan Mendoza'daki bir vadide gizlenen Salentein, Hollandal› bir giriflimci taraf›ndan kurulmufl. Yerel mimarlar Eliana Bormida ve Mario Yanzon taraf›ndan tasarlanan haç planl› yap›da, haç›n kollar›ndan her
birinde küçük bir flarap üretim tesisi yer al›yor. Haç plan›,
flarab›n üretim aflamalar› s›ras›nda ald›¤› yolu k›saltarak gereksiz oksitlenmenin de önüne geçiyor. fiaraphanenin
yeralt›ndaki tad›m bölümünde, Arjantin'in özellikle baflar›l›
oldu¤u Malbec, Pinot Noir ve Sauvignon Blanc üzümlerinden üretilmifl flaraplar› tadabilirsiniz.
Salentein lies in the province of Mendoza, the most important
winegrowing region of Argentina, with some 150,000
vineyard hectares and more than 900 wineries. The winery,
owned by a Dutch entrepreneur was commissioned to local
architects Eliana Bormida and Mario Yanzon. Each wing of
the cross shaped building is reserved for a small winery with
two levels. The cross layout reduces the distance wine has to
move between winemaking steps and unnecessary oxidation
is avoided. Visitors can enjoy a glass of classic Argentine
Malbec, Pinot Noir or Sauvignon Blanc at the underground
tasting rooms.
