Etis lunges ahead at agriculture logistics
G
rowing with the new customers in the distribution logistics segment through the agriculture logistics field after water, beverage, and chain stores logistics, Etis Logistics won the
tender of carrying this year’s beet harvest of Amasya Sugar Mill. Etis that will operate in
Yunak, Çetik, and Kadınhanı, three big-scale beet producing districts of Konya within the
scope of the outsourced beet operations of Amasya Sugar Mill, will carry the 60 thousand tons of beet
from 7 different collection points to the plant of the institution in Suluova throughout the harvesting
season. Etis will use more than 2 thousand trucks during the shipment process that will last three
months. Etis Logistics General Manager Erdal Kılıç reminds that they proclaimed 2015 as their year
of growth in the distribution logistics and said that they continued their investments in this field without slowing down. Stating that they increased their power in this area thanks to their collaborations,
Kılıç added, “We will continue our horizontal growth in the logistics of the seasonal interim products
such as tomatoes and potatoes through new customers.”

müşterilerle büyüyen Etis Lojistik, Amasya Şeker Fabrikası’nın bu yılki pancar hasadının taşıma ihalesini
kazandı. Amasya Şeker’in dış saha pancar operasyonları kapsamında Konya’nın üç büyük pancar üreticisi
ilçesi Yunak, Çetik ve Kadınhanı’nda çalışacak olan Etis, 7 ayrı toplama bölgesinden hasat dönemi boyunca
60 bin ton pancarı kurumun Suluova’daki fabrikasına taşıyacak.
Hareket undersigns new projects in Iraq
H
areket continues to attain great achievements in numerous significant projects in the Middle East, the Balkans, Caucasia, and Central Asian countries along with Turkey. Having
taken part in numerous projects in Iraq, Hareket keeps on carrying out the carriage of the
equipments of the Dohuk Gas Power Plant Station whose construction is presently ongoing at the Dohuk Region. Hareket receives the delivery of the cargoes consisting of steam turbine generators, HRSG modules, transformers, and rotors from various regions of Turkey, such as Gebze, Izmir,
Ankara, and Iskenderun, and will have realized totally 56 trips with out-of-gauge cargoes within the
scope of the project. Hareket
carries 2 pieces of 230-ton steam
turbine generators, 16 pieces of
157-ton, 16 pieces of 145-ton, 16
pieces of 54-ton HRSG modules,
and 2 pieces of 94-ton HP/
IP rotors among the cargoes
in question on the hydraulic
vehicles with suitable configurations. Hareket has completed the
transport of 7 pieces of 157-ton,
8 pieces of 145-ton, and 12 pieces
of 54-ton HRSG modules to the
project site so far.
Hareket Irak’ta yeni projelere imza atıyor
Irak’ta birçok projede yer alan Hareket, halihazırda Dohuk bölgesinde yapımı süren Dohuk Gas Power
Plant Station’ın ekipmanlarının taşımalarına devam ediyor. Buhar türbin jeneratörü, HRSG modül, trafo ve
rotorlardan oluşan yükleri Gebze, İzmir, Ankara ve İskenderun gibi Türkiye’nin çeşitli bölgelerinden teslim
alan Hareket, proje kapsamında toplam 56 adet gabari dışı yüklü sefer gerçekleştirmiş olacak.
Dılucu Border Gate opens
Dilucu Border Gate whose modernization was completed through the Operate-Transfer model was
inaugurated with a ceremony for services. TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who gave a speech in
the inauguration ceremony of the Gate situated an 86-kilometer distance to Iğdır and opening to Nakhicevan, said, “The TIRs passing through this gate are carrying our cargoes; the higher the modernity
and fastness of the crossings, the more gains Turkey and our members will acquire. Iğdır will provide
the possibility of creating a great market thanks to this gate. If we can seize the opportunity well, we
will benefit from it all together.” Hisarcıklıoğlu underlined that they have made 725 million- dollar
investments as TOBB for the modernization of the customs gates. Cenap Aşçı, the Minister of Customs
and Trade, said, “This is our 10th gate we have renewed. We have a nice collaboration with TOBB. 213
thousand vehicles have entered and exited at this gate, the number that must be increased.”
