L-3 LINK Simülasyon ve Eğitim, BrükselBELÇİKA’da yapılan Uluslararası Eğitim
Ekipmanları Konferansı açılışında 80 inci
kuruluş yılını kutladı.
L-3 LINK’in geçmişi, simülasyon sanayinin
öncüsü Ed Link’in icat ettiği ilk pilot eğitim
cihazının patentini almak için başvurduğu
1929 yılına kadar gider. Bunun öncesindeki
aylarda, Link bireylerin uçuş eğitimini yerde
konuşlandırılabilecek bir eğitim sistemi ile
yapabilmelerinin onlara uçmayı öğrenme
konusunda daha emniyetli ve ulaşılabilir bir
imkan vereceğini tahmin etmişti.1934

kanatlı hava platformlarına yönelik eğitim ve
destek simülatör ve sistemleri üretiyor.
Döner kanatlı platformların desteklenmesine
yönelik olarak da, aralarında ABD Kara
Kuvvetleri’nin
de
bulunduğu
geniş
yelpazede bir çok müşterisine özellikle
HELCATT helikopter simülasyon sistemi
aracılığı ile birçok ürün geliştirip simülasyon
sistemleri sağlayıcılığı desteği vermiştir.
Buna ilave olarak, her türlü hava platformu
için tüm dünyaya yayılmış filolar için ağ
yapısı
üzerinden
eğitim
sağlanması
kabiliyeti teslimatı yapabilecek durumdadır.
Şirket halihazırda E-3, E-6B ve C-27J uçuş
personelinin eğitimi için tasarlanmış okulları

L-3 Link Simulation and Training Celebrates 80th Anniversary
BRUSSELS, Belgium, May 11, 2009 -- L-3
Link Simulation & Training (L-3 Link)
recognized its 80th anniversary at the opening
of the International Training Equipment
Conference in Brussels, Belgium.
L-3 Link traces its heritage back to simulation
industry pioneer Ed Link, who in 1929 filed for
a patent on his invention of the first pilot
trainer. In the months that preceded this
action, Link surmised that a ground-based
training system would enable individuals to
learn how to fly and, in the process, make
aviation safer and more accessible. The first
sale of six Link Model “A” trainers to the Army
Air Corps in 1934 served as the foundation for
today’s multi-billion dollar simulation and
training industry.
