ً ‫ﯾﮭ ْم ءَاﯾَﺎﺗِ ِﮫ ﻋَ ﻠَﯾ ِْﮭ ْم َﯾ ْﺗﻠُو أَ ْﻧﻔُﺳِ ِﮭ ْم ﻣِنْ رَ ﺳ‬

ِ ‫ْاﻟ ِﻛ َﺗﺎبَ َوﯾُﻌَ ﻠﱢ ُﻣ ُﮭ ُم َوﯾ َُز ﱢﻛ‬
‫ﺣ ْﻛ َﻣ َﺔ‬
ِ ‫ﯾن ﺿَ َﻼ ٍل ﻟَﻔِﻲ َﻗ ْﺑ ُل ﻣِنْ َﻛﺎ ُﻧوا َوإِنْ َو ْاﻟ‬
ٍ ِ‫ﻣُﺑ‬
Aziz Kardeşlerim!
Okuduğum ayet-i kerimede Rabbimiz şöyle buyuruyor:
“Andolsun ki Allah, müminlere kendi içlerinden bir
peygamber göndermekle büyük bir lütufta
bulunmuştur. O peygamber ki, onlara Allah’ın
ayetlerini okur, onları arındırır, onlara kitabı ve
hikmeti öğretir. Hâlbuki daha önce onlar apaçık bir
dalalet içinde bulunuyorlardı.”1
Okuduğum hadis-i şerifte ise Allah Rasulü (s.a.s) şöyle
buyuruyor: “Benimle ümmetimin durumu (geceleyin)
ateş yakan kimsenin hâline benzer. Böcekler ve
kelebekler o ateşe düşmeye başlar. İşte ben de
sizler ateşe girerken kuşaklarınızdan tutup
engellemeye çalışıyorum.”2
Sevgili Peygamberimiz (s.a.s)’in bir kutlu doğumunu daha
idrak ediyoruz. Bu vesileyle Peygamberler zincirinin son
halkası, hâtemü’l-enbiya Ahmed-i Mahmud Muhammed
Mustafa’ya, onun ehl-i beytine ve ashabına salât ve selâm
olsun!
Rahmet Peygamberi (s.a.s), insanlık değerlerinin aşındığı
bir zaman aralığında yeryüzünü şereflendirdi. Hayatın
anlamının hızla kaybolmaya başladığı bir asırda dünyamızı
anlamlandırdı. Fıtratın bozulmaya yüz tuttuğu, kula
kulluğun sınır tanımadığı, cehaletin kol gezdiği bir çağda
insanlığı hak, hakikat, adalet, fazilet ve yüksek ahlaki
değerlerle buluşturdu. Peygamberimiz, rahmet çağrısıyla
tarihin akışını değiştirdi. İnsanlığın kalbini ve aklını
aydınlattı. Kur’an-ı Kerim’i beyan etti. İlahi mesajı, yaşayan
bir hayata dönüştürdü. Rabbimizin varlığını, birliğini ve
ebediyet ülkesine seyahatimizi öğretti. Hayatı ve ahlakıyla
çağlar üstü örnek oldu. Efendimiz, bütün zamanlarda aklın,
ilmin, ahlâkın, sabır ve vefanın, sadakat ve samimiyetin,
güçlü iken müşfik olmanın, haklı iken özveride bulunmanın,
haksızlığa karşı gür sedanın, akıl ve imanın önündeki
engellere karşı yüreğini ortaya koymanın adı oldu. Tüm
insanlığa, gecesi gündüz gibi apaydınlık bir yol bıraktı. Onun
hikmetli sözleri, örnek davranışları sünnet oldu, hadis oldu,
insanlığa yol gösterdi. İnsanlık gerçek medeniyeti onunla
tanıdı. Müslümanların ürettiği yüksek kültür ve medeniyet,
hep onun öğretileri üzerinde yükseldi.

Sevgili Peygamberimiz (s.a.s)’in Mekke’de yaktığı İslâm
meşalesi tutuşup öyle büyüdü ki tüm zamanları aydınlattı.
İman, teslimiyet, sadakat ve samimiyetle atılan tohumlar
yeşerdi, filizlendi, büyüdü. Bütün çağlarda meyvelerini
verdi. İmanla tutuşan gönüller birbirlerine ısındı. Irk, renk,
dil, bölge ve coğrafya farkları gibi engeller bir bir aşıldı.
Müslümanlar kardeş oldular, tek vücut oldular. Aynı
bütünün parçaları, aynı binanın tuğlaları, aynı “Bir”in
yansımaları, tevhid ile gelen vahdetin temsilcileri oldular.
Aynı inanca bağlı bir ümmet olmanın huzur ve mutluluğunu
yaşadılar. Namazda kıbleye dönerken, Kâbe’de tavaf
ederken, Arafat’ta vakfeye dururken ümmet olmanın, bir ve
beraber olmanın en güzel örneklerini sergilediler.

bugün içinde
yaşadığımız
çağın,
doğumunu
kutladığımız
Sevgili
Peygamberimizin
örnekliğine,
önderliğine ve rehberliğine her zamankinden daha çok
ihtiyacı var. Bugün onu okumaya, onu anlamaya, dahası
yaşamaya ihtiyacımız var. Onu tanımanın, onu sevmenin
sağlayacağı güven ortamına ihtiyacımız var…
Bugün Peygamberimizin dünyaya gelişini, yetim ve öksüz
kalışını, çocukluğunu ve çocuklarla ilişkilerini yeniden
öğrenmeye ihtiyacımız var. Bugün bir kez daha Rahmet
Peygamberinin nezih gençliğini, gençlerle iletişimini,
gençliğinde haksızlıklarla nasıl mücadele ettiğini bilmeye
ihtiyacımız var. Bugün her zamankinden daha çok
Peygamberimizin Hz. Hatice validemizle dostluk ve
arkadaşlık üzere bina ettiği; vefatından sonra Hz. Aişe
validemizle sevgi, ilgi, bilgi ve hikmet üzere inşa ettiği aile
yapısını keşfetmeye ve iliklerimize kadar yaşamaya
ihtiyacımız var. Bugün bir kez daha onun cahiliye toplumu
ile
mücadelesini,
Medine’yi
arayışını,
Habeşistan
hicretlerini, Akabe görüşmelerini, Taif’te taşlanışını ve
yaralar içinde iken “Allah’ım, onlara merhamet et, çünkü
onlar bilmiyorlar” deyişini hatırlamaya ihtiyacımız var.
Medine’ye hicretini, mescidi inşasını, Evs ve Hazrec’in yıllar
yılı süren kavgalarına son verişini, Ensar ve Muhaciri kardeş
kılışını, ashab-ı suffayı anlamaya ihtiyacımız var. Bugün bir
kez daha onun, toplumu gergef gergef ören samimi ve
dürüst ilişkilerini öğrenmeye ihtiyacımız var. Onun
eğitiminden geçen, her biri birer yıldız ve insanlığı
aydınlatan birer meşale olan ashabını tanımaya ihtiyacımız
var. Hz. Ebubekir’in dostluğunu ve sadakatini; Hz. Ömer’in,
hikmet ve adaletini; Hz. Osman’ın iffet ve hayâsını; Hz.
Ali’nin ilim ve cesaretini günümüze taşımaya ihtiyacımız
var. Bugün bir kez daha onun “Yetime sahip çıkan, cennette
benimle yan yana olacaktır” “Komşusu açken tok yatan
bizden değildir” “Yanınızda çalışanlar sizin kardeşlerinizdir;
yediğinizden yedirin, giydiğinizden giydirin; emeklerinin
hakkını alın terleri kurumadan verin” çağrılarına yeniden
kulak vermeye ihtiyacımız var.
Kardeşlerim!
Her biri bir destan olan Bedir, Uhud, Hendek, Hayber ve
Tebük’ü okuyup anlamaya ihtiyacımız var. Yahudileri de
içine alan Medine Sözleşmesini, Necranlı Hristiyanlara
Mescid-i Nebevi’yi ibadet mekânı olarak tahsis edişini,
Hudeybiye’de barış için gösterdiği çabayı, Mekke’nin
fethinde Ebu Süfyan’ı, Hind’i ve amcası Hz. Hamza’nın katili
Vahşi de dâhil insanları affedişini; Huneyn’de aldığı
ganimetleri fakirlere dağıtışını, Veda Haccını, insanlık
tarihine altın harflerle yazılan Veda Hutbesini; “İnsanlar,
tarağın dişleri gibi eşittir. Hepiniz Âdem’densiniz, Âdem de
topraktandır.” deyişini, “Kadınlara hayırla muamele edin,
onların sizin üzerinizde hakları vardır.” diye haykırışını, “En
Yüce Dost’a gidiyorum.” diyerek dünyaya veda edişini ve
nihayet “Gözümün nuru namazı bırakmayın.” deyişini
hatırlamaya ve anlamaya her zamankinden daha çok
ihtiyacımız
var.

Kardeşlerim!
Sizler, Peygamberimiz (s.a.s)’in gönlünden hiç eksik
olmadınız. O, sizlerden hep “kardeşlerim” diye söz etti.
Rabbimden niyazım odur ki, sizlerin gönlünden de
Peygamberimiz hiçbir zaman eksik olmasın! Onun kutlu
doğumunun ülkemiz, milletimiz, âlem-i İslâm ve tüm
insanlık için hayırlara vesile olmasını Rabbimden niyaz
ediyorum.

Her yıl olduğu gibi bu yıl da inşallah kutlu doğum haftasında çeşitli
programlar yapmaya çalışacağız. Gerçekleştireceğimiz programlar
konusunda sizleri bilgilendireceğiz. Yüce rabbimden kutlu
doğumun hayırlara vesile olmasını niyaz ediyorum!

Dear Brothers!
In Surat ‘Ali ‘Imran ayah 164 Allah Almighty commands:
“Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the
believers when He sent among them a Messenger
from themselves, reciting to them His verses and
purifying them and teaching them the Book and
wisdom, although they had been before in manifest
error.”
In a hadith our beloved prophet (saw) states: “My
similitude is of the one who lit up a fire and when the
fire lighted the surroundings, moths started falling
into it. He then began to prevent these from falling
into the fire, but instead of his efforts they kept on
dropping in the fire. I (Prophet Muhammad) am like
the one who prevents you from fire while you persist
on entering into it’.
We once again approach the holy birth of our beloved
Prophet (saw). On this occasion, may the blessings and
peace be upon the last prophet in the chain of prophet
hood, that being hâtemü’l-enbiya Ahmed-i Mahmud
Muhammed Mustafa and his companions!
The merciful prophet had honoured the earth at a time
when human values were exceeded. He was able to make
sense of our world in a century which began to quickly lose
the meaning of life. He brought together the values of
truth, justice, virtue and high morals in an era where
ignorance were abundant, people did not recognize the
limits of servitude, and where disposition was in the verge
of deteriorating. With the merciful call of our prophet, he
changed the course of history. He illuminated the hearts
and minds of humanity. He declared the Quran. He
converted the divine message into a living life. He taught
us the qualities of our lord, oneness and unity. With his life
and morals, he became an exemplary example. Our
prophet, revealed to us to be mindful at all times, possess
knowledge, morality, patience, loyalty and sincerity, having
compassion and dedication, to reject against injustice, and
maintain reason and faith for the barriers in front of us. He
left for all humanity a bright way. His wise words and
behaviour became a Sunnah for us, and showed humanity
a road to follow. True civilization of humanity was
recognized through him. The culture and civilization
produced by Muslims were extracted and elevated by his
teachings.
Dear Brothers!
Our beloved prophets (saw) message of Islam in Mecca
grew so fast that it provided light and exposure for all
times. The seeds flourished and grew with faith, surrender,
devotion and sincerity. The hearts of those with faith
warmed to each other. Differences and obstacles were
overcome such as race, colour, language, region, and
geographical differences. Muslims became brothers. They
became one body. They were representatives of unity and
monotheism. Being a nation connected to the same faith,
they lived in peace and happiness. They demonstrated the
best examples of being one and together through there
prayer towards the Qibla, tawaf around the Kaaba, and the
standstill of Arafat.
Dear Brothers!
However, the age we live in today, we have more need than
ever of our beloved prophet’s example, leadership and
guidance as we celebrate his birth. We are more in need to
read about him, understand him, and moreover live by him.
Today, we need to re-learn the arrival of the prophet to this
world, his life as an orphan, his youth and his relationship
with children. Today, once again, we need to know the
merciful prophets elite youth, his communication with
young people, and how he fought against injustice in his
years as a youth. Today, more than ever, we need to take
heed of the way he explored and built the structure of his
family with love, attention, knowledge and wisdom, through
the friendship and companionship of Hz Hatica, and after
her death, through Hz. Aise. Today, once again, we need to
remember his struggle against the ignorance of society in
regards to the quest of Medina, the migration of Ethiopia,
the Aqaba discussion, and the Taif exhibition in which he
said in a state where he was wounded from the throwing of
the rocks from the people in the community, “O Allah, have
mercy on them, because they do not know”. We are in need
to understand the emigration of Medina, the construction of
the mosque, the years of Aws and Khazraj tribes fighting to
the last exchange, the Ansar and the emigrants
brotherhood, and Ashab al-Suffa. Today, once again, we
need to learn his societal teachings of sincere and honest
relationships. We need to recognize and take heed of the
companions. We need to carry Hz Abu Bakr’s friendship and
loyalty; Hz Umar’s wisdom and justice; Hz Usman’s chastity
and modesty; and Hz Ali’s wisdom and courage in our lives.
We need to listen and remember the wise words of the
prophet, in which he said: “He who takes care of an orphan,
whether he is his relative or a stranger, will be in Jannah
with me like these two", whereby he showed his forefinger
and middle finger for illustration. Also, ‘He who sleeps on a
full stomach whilst his neighbour goes hungry is not one of
us’, and furthermore, "Your brothers are your
responsibility. Allah has made them under your hands. So
whosoever has a brother under his hand, let him give him
food as he eats and dress as he dresses. Do not give them
work that will overburden them and if you give them such
task then provide them assistance."
Dear Brothers!
We need to read and understand the saga of Badr, Uhud,
battle of the trench, Khaybar, and Tabuk. We need to
remember the saying of the prophet in his last farewell
sermon, “All people, right from Adam to this day, are equal
like the teeth of a comb. You are all from Adam, Adam is
from soil.”, and,
“Do treat your women well and be kind to
them for they are your partners and committed helpers.”
We need to remember the last words he uttered when
departing form this world, “O Allah, with the supreme
communion.”, and his saying, “Prayer was made the
sweetness of my eyes…”
Dear Brothers!
You, were never at all missing in the heart of the Prophet
(saw). He always spoke with the saying of “My brother”. I
supplicate to my Lord that you never neglect the prophet in
your hearts! I supplicate to my Lord that his blessed birth
provides our country, nation, Islam and all mankind with
much good.
Brothers!
Like every other year, this year inshallah we will try to
organize a variety of programs for the happy birth of the
prophet. We will inform you on how we carry out the
programs. I supplicate to my lord that his birth leads to
much good!
